How and where is the Vivitrol injection given?

Has anyone had any experience with Naltrexone & alcohol consumption?

I know about the warnings but wondered if anyone has tried this or knows anyone that has? & how it affected them? I'd be grateful for any responses.

..for use in alcoholics, to stay abstinent or to reduce volume of alcohol intake? Personal experience or a friend or family member that has used the monthly injection would be gratefully received. Looking for any advice, good or bad. Thank you!

I am about to start taking antabuse. Is the physical reaction bad against vingegar and other foods?

I'm not concerned about the not drinking. I am nervous about eating foods that will have vinegar or whatever in them and worry I will be sick. Same as wearing perfume. Is this the case?
