I am wondering if B Complex vitamins can cause someone with anxiety and panic disorders to actually get increased symptoms from this? Along with having the anxiety disorders, I am also B12 deficient, so I take a B12 Vitamin every day. I found a new B12 that I wanted to try, but it also has Super B Complex in it. I took it for 4 days and my anxiety and panic levels shot through the roof, and made me have heart palpitations. This did not happen to me when I took the Vitamin B12 alone. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with adding in the B Complex since it didn't start until I added that in? I have not taken the vitamins for 2 days now, and it seems to be getting a little better, but how long will it take for the jitters and stuff to go away now? It feels like my anxiety med is not even working right now, that's how bad it is!
Can Super B Complex cause increased anxiety and panic attacks?

Just wanted to update quick: As I was searching for the answer to this question on the web last night, I came across this post by someone and copied it. Hopefully it will help some other "unsuspecting" person that suffers from anxiety disorders, that thinks "Oh, it's just a vitamin, it can't hurt."
"Certain vitamins such as B-complex are stimulatory and will cause anxiety and even panic attacks in some people. Minerals such as copper, manganese and others are also stimulatory. Certain herbs such as ginseng and eluthero are also somewhat stimulatory and can cause anxiety. Be careful with supplements, as they are not all benign."

I’ve been feeling quite anxious lately from health scares and changes in my life. Up to now I’ve been able to function day to day but needed something to relax me a little bit. I decided to take vitamin b complex on the advice of a Health store worker. Only have been taking them for 3 days or so and my anxiety shot through the roof. I didn’t think anything of it but now believe the vitamin b is the cause. I’ve told people about this who don’t believe a vitamin can do this. I really hope it is the case because I’m going out of my mind with mental fog and anxiety! Does anyone know how long it will take to get out of my system?
My case was exactly the same. Health scares, feeling a bit anxious, a friend recommended super b and after the second day of taking it, I was experiencing full on panic attacks. My advice? Hang in there! It is normal. Don’t let your mind think that you’ll never feel better. I was so worried about that. You will! It took me probably a good week and a half to almost two weeks to feel less anxious and I was extremely shakey (if that is a word) as well. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Drink lots. That will help. Relax. And rest. I have found that for me that “calm aid” lavender pills work wonderfully. No scary side effects. I get them on amazon. But I will stay away from B complex from now on! Take care and don’t worry! It’s normal or at least, it was for me. Hugs!
I am going to try the calm and. My anxiety has been uncontrollable so I stopped my b complex this morning and hope it helps. Something has to!
Hi! It took me several weeks to get back to normal after quitting but hang in there. Lots of water!!! You will feel better soon. Just try not to worry.
Hi I know this is an old post but roughly how long did it take for the anxiety to go away?? Did it take you a full 2 weeks??
I too have been experiencing the same side effects. I have a panic disorder that felt under control until I switched to b complex supplements over just b12 . ( B complex is supposed to help with depression) in the past week I have felt panic attacks bubbling up inside me and very anxious. It's been a year or longer since I had a full blown attack and the only thing I had changed was the supplements. I am a feel days off them, and hope that that is what is causing the sudden spike in panic attacks and anxiety
I would say try not to worry. It takes a bit to get out of your system but I had serious trouble with shaking, panic, and anxiety while taking them. Which then caused me to worry even more about if I would always feel like that. I am happy to report that I am much much better. It takes a while to get them out of your system but they will go! Don’t worry. Rest, relax, hydrate. You’ll be fine.
Hi! I know this post is a bit old but I’m so grateful for it. Took one dose of super b complex and it made me crazy with anxiety and nausea. It was 1200% the daily recommended value for these vitamins. What was I thinking?? I don’t know how they can sell this and think it’s safe to overload the body like that. But maybe I just respond to medicines strongly. Anyway. My question is I am on day 4 of no vitamins and still experiencing awful shaking in my body. Nausea is mostly gone. Anxiety comes and goes. Still there for sure but manageable. Insomnia is still there. But the shaking really stinks! It’s very bothersome. Anyone have a time frame of how long it takes for your body to get back to normal? Any shaking experience or remedies? I’m starting to get worried... more than I already am!
Hi I know this is an old post but I’m currently going through the same thing. Like you I only took one dose of b complex and my anxiety has been crazy. Do you remember how many weeks it took you to feel better??
I am so glad I am
Not crazy! I started taking these 5 days ago and my anxiety is through the roof. Also my stomach is very angry at me. I will be stopping them. I wanted to get some energy, but not like this.
Reading all the views I would like to share that I was taking B complex and B6, B12 vitamins everyday for while and I noticed that I started to get anxiety and palpitations and funny sensations in hands and feet, I was quite worried so when I started to get doubts on possible cause due to taking vitamins B and my doubt was cleared as I read people with similar experience
I have all the same symptoms you describe. I started taking Total B from Sapien 5 days ago and they are not for me. I also have the flushing feeling of my skin. Very scary. I was looking for a mood elevator and energy booster, but apparently this is not the answer for me. Hope you are feeling better.
I am so happy to find this thread. I had a gastric bypass on 12/5/2018. I was told to take Vitamin B-12 as a supplement. I, on my own, decided to take the B-50 Complex. I had been fine until about 2 weeks ago when I started feeling depressed, overwhelmed, unable to sleep, anxious, etc. etc. I did not know why. I had been on an antidepressant before the surgery but they took me off of it. So my doctor just now re-prescribed it a few days ago. She gave me more anti-anxiety meds. I suffer from General Anxiety Disorder and Situational Depression.
Two months after the bypass, a whole series of blood work was ordered. This included Vitamin B6 level. Everything was normal except the Vitamin B6 level was 4 times elevated the normal range. In researching on the internet, it certainly states that high levels of Vitamin B6 can cause anxiety in some individuals.
I am now trying to get in touch with my surgeon and my general doctor. I live in Hawaii and medical care here is dismal. My surgeon is at UCLA in CA. Needless to say I feel I have to be my own medical advocate. As far as my blood work is concern, my medical clinic here in the Big Island saw nothing wrong with my blood work.
Looking for your thoughts and thank you.
It happend to my husband!! And I shouldn’t be surprised.. as I knew taking vitamins you need to be careful... always after a meal it’s better!
My husband started feeling not too well... palpitations like crazy and needed to go lay down.. he said: I’m just feeling not too well..
Immediately my thoughts were... the Vitamin B100!!
Then I came to this site and read all these post.. and my answer was the possibility of the Vitamin B100 had been the reason, specially that he took it with coffee and had just taken a multivitamin right before.. what a mistake..
He is felling better now... took a nap to relax... and he seems normal...
I also normally take the B100 to calm my stress and my eye when starts jumping cause from stress... in my case always helps and I have never had any side effects... it actually helps a lot..
So not for everyone and just be careful when taking any vitamins.
The answer is yes. This is real and it happens to me too. You are not alone. If I take more than 3,000mcg/daily (2,000 is the amount my doctor prescribed for low B12 blood levels) I find myself distracted by my breathing which is a sign of anxiety. I take strange, deep breaths (because I do not feel satisfied with 'normal' breathing), and I find myself sighing loudly/yawning and feeling anxious for no reason. This dosage does not trigger a full blown panic attack for me but it does cause me to wake at 3am, 4am and I am unable to go back to sleep. It is worse if I have any other stimulants (coffee, tea). If I stay below 1,000 mcg I do not have these issues. I am taking a blend that is 50% adenosylcobalamin and 50% hydroxocobalamin. I am thinking I might try a different kind, or just try to get my B12 from food. Obviously some of us are just more sensitive to these things.
This has also been my experience with synthetic B vitamins. After a few days on them my anxiety levels soared, and my blood pressure would rise to 150/90. It’s normally 120/78. I now take natural plant source B vitamins which seem to be more absorbable.
I have been having the exact same breathing symptom. Very scary.
I have had the same breathing issues for the past month as I have been taking the vitamins for a month- month an a half. I stopped taking them 6 days ago. I am starting to feel better slowly. I am hoping I just have to flush it out of my system for a week to two and it’ll go away.
In short, yes, I think they can have a big effect on anxiety. Thought I'd provide my experience to help others: on Tuesday July 2nd I'd purchased over-the-counter high strength multi-vitamins from a drug store (note: prior to this experience I'd been very healthy, happy and performing well at work. My life was exactly where I wanted it to be). Throughout the first week I reckon I took 3 pills in total. Each pill contains 80mg of B6 and 80mcg of B12. I began to consistently take the pills on Monday July 9th. This is where things started to go a bit strange. In total I reckon I had around 10 pills over the course of 14 days. My symptoms were as follows:
> Wednesday 11th July immediately after work: strange loss of sensation in hands and feet. Had to sit down on the way to the train station. Thought I was experiencing low blood sugar. Managed to make my way on to the train, got home and slept it all off.
> Thursday 12th July immediately after work: same loss of sensation occurred, began feeling 'out of it', dizzy and needing to get home ASAP.
> Friday 13th July: similar sensation happened.
> Saturday 14th July: I took my morning multi-vitamin and within 30 minutes I was completely out of it. I felt shaky throughout my body, was struggling to make sense of basic things like phone calls and daily chores. Had a number of plans for that day which I had to cancel. I went to A&E and they couldn't find anything wrong with me. Doctors suggested to stop taking the multi-vitamins. Began researching effects of taking too many vitamins... Naturally I stopped taking the supplements.
> Sunday 15th - Friday 20th: Off-work with immense anxiety (I've never been diagnosed with anxiety before). Heart had been racing non-stop throughout the week. Urinating 13- 18 times a day. Head felt like it was full of pressure. Unable to maintain consistent conversation due to lack of concentration and obsessive focus/worry on how I was feeling. Lack of appetite - lost over a kilo these past few days. This feeling was unlike anything I'd felt before. Ended up at A&E on the Wednesday due to another panic attack. Saw GP on Thursday and broke-down due to sheer worry about what was happening to me. Doctors had no diagnosis other than telling me I was experiencing acute anxiety... despite never knowingly having anxiety before.
> Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd: Anxiety potentially beginning to show signs of fading although I still had frequent moments of mild panic and distress. Left the house for a few hours on the Saturday, was feeling extreme nausea which gradually faded. I suspect that part of this was due to not eating much over the days leading up and not eating anything on Saturday due to no appetite. Forced myself to eat, felt better by the afternoon. Sunday I didn't have any nausea and managed to do some house chores without any major issues.
> Today: Anxiety feels as if it has retreated further but still not feeling 100% normal. The 'worry cycles' about how I'm feeling have also shown some signs of improvement. I feel as if I'm gradually able to engage in some form of conversation and chores (e.g. replying to work emails) without feeling too sick or strange. Still slight 'head fog' but probably due to exhaustion of the last week.
So, that's where I'm up to. It's be a very hard 7 days and I still don't necessarily think I'm out of the woods but I wanted to provide an ongoing account of my experience. I'm still hoping the next few days will allow me to improve even more. From reading other peoples experiences, I've noticed a lot of people flagging how they're feeling, but without replying to confirm how it ended up. I'll be logging back on in a few days to let you know how I'm getting on. At the moment, and from reading everyone's experience, I think there's an overwhelming correlation between taking vitamin supplements which are high in B-Complex and having this type of reaction.
Quick update: it's been 3 days since my initial post. My anxiety has continued to fade but i still have a slight headache from time to time. I've been able to go back to work although have only managed one full day as I've been completely exhausted. My guess is that last week's intense experience has drained me mentally and physically. I'm hopeful that the next few days will show even more improvement.
Still awaiting result from a blood test but am convinced the vitamins had something to do in creating or exposing & amplifying some sort of underlying stress I was experiencing. This certainly was unlike anything I've experience before but am glad to say after almost two weeks I'm confident that I'm starting to return to normal.
MCK2018:
Your symptoms really mimicked much of what I had, particularly with the frequent bathroom issues, stomach issues, and even a "breakdown" at the doctor's office. Yes, the experience I had was uncontrollable for me and felt clearly unlike anything else I have ever been through before: I knew right away something wasn't right.
I have detailed some of my issues a few months ago withing this thread.
As for people not coming to comment back, it's likely they have gotten better and moved on. This issue hit me a bit harder and I'm mostly certain I've developed an anxiety disorder from it. I'd say I'm 85-99 percent better most days with medication. It took me 6-12 months to get my footing back.
You could help the discussion of this by getting tested for MTHFR (easy to do with genetic test). I do wonder if there's a connection. With that said, the community behind methylation et. al. issues is a bit "out there" and isn't well supported by scientific research, Anything you read from that arena should be taken with a huge grain of salt.
Also, post what kind of vitamins you took (e.g., cyanocobalamin, methylcobalamin, etc.). This may be important.
Keep us posted with how you're doing, will you? Good luck.
It's 7+ days since my last post. I've completed my first full week of work since the initial experience. Still haven't been feeling 100%, and I've tended to lose focus in the afternoons but I've kept it together. I'd say for the most part my anxiety has now retreated, headache has subsided and my night time trembling seems to have reduced too. That being said, I still feel rather jaded from the experience and I often find myself mentally examining how my body is feeling; constantly on the look out for a return of the symptoms. I'm hoping this irrational thought process will soon fade and is also just a 'hangover' from the intense experience.
I've also received my blood tests back. All checks were fine, EXCEPT for my B12 which was high. I'm not sure where in the world you're reading this, but in the UK the NHS has a low - high spectrum of 200 - ~620 for B12. 8 days after stopping the supplements my B12 was just under the 700 mark...
@Methyl-head - I've not been tested for MTHFR yet but will take a look into it soon as I can. As for the type of B12, it was Cyanocobalamin, which I understand to be the cheaper, less optimal form of the vitamin (might need some confirmation on this though).
I'm still hoping for further improvement as I have further to go until I'm fully restored. I'd imagine the remaining excess B12 (and whatever else contributed to this) will take some more time to be flushed from my system. The most extreme symptoms have definitely faded now so I'm expecting subtle improvements over a longer amount of time.
Will be back to update :)
MCK2018- currently experiencing some of your symptoms. Wondering how you are feeling now?
Hi chrisel08 - it’s been a rocky few months for me but I think I’m on the mend. Looking back over the summer and when my most severe symptoms started I think there’s probably a few factors I’ve become aware of:
1. I had been experiencing brief and mild episodes of anxiety-type sensations before I began supplementing. I wasn’t aware that dizziness (for example) is a symptom of anxiety/stress. I began supplementing to boost my energy levels with the intention of feeling ‘normal’ throughout the entire day.
2. Stress at work had been building since January and I was aware of the amount of stress I was under. This probably lead to mild physical stress symptoms which became worse, or amplified, whilst taking the supplements. (I’m pretty certain that the supplements didn’t CAUSE the anxiety which followed for months).
3. I’d been suppressing a lot of emotional stress/trauma due to the [continued] ongoing terminal illness of my mother. At the time, I thought I was dealing with this in a normal way.
I continued to have panic attacks through July and August (after my last post). I haven’t taken a visit to A&E or the doctor since the end of August. I began seeing a therapist in October who helped me uncover a lot of stress which id been concealing. I’m much better now and am glad to say I didn’t go down the medication route but I’m still taking time to find my feet.
I’ve arrived at a place now where I no longer see the B12 as the cause of my 3-4 month long anxiety episode. I do, however think it could have played a role in amplyfing the sensations - particularly the first 6 weeks. I DO believe that I began taking the supplements in an attempt to boost my withering emotional state (tiredness, dizziness, emotionally unstable at times).
My advice to you would be:
1. Take a look to see f there could be any other cause or trigger of the symptoms. Even longer term situations in your life which you may feel you’re ‘dealing with’, in my view, are a more likely cause of the sensations vs. B12 supplements. B12 certainly could be temporarily amplifying the feelings though. Constantly searching your external environment for explanations as to why you’re feeling the way you are is merely a symptom of anxiety; the answer is often within and right under our nose.
2. If you’re 100% sure that your current situation is caused by B12 then be rest assured that this will be a temporary situation which will reduce once your body/brain chemicals return to normal. This is something which was hard for me to accept at first.
3. Time makes things better. So relax as best you can, try to avoid reading more articles or blogs online because you’ll never find the ‘golden ticket’ to stop you feeling how you’re feeling. It takes time and persistence but you’ll get there :).
I hope some of that helps and do let me know how you’re getting on?
MCK2018- Thank you so much for responding. I stopped taking the supplement in hopes of feeling better. The symptoms have reduced. I hope it will go away.
MCK2018
Good breakdown of rationalizing the impact of B12. I too had pre-existing anxiety issues, maybe even a disorder by definition. I don't think B12 caused my new GAD / Panic Attack anxiety, but sure as hell it took me to a level I never knew existed in the human mind. Let's just say it's been a troubling 2 year ordeal. Definite ups and downs, but I'd argue I'm normal the majority of the time. 3 months post B12 was the worst of it.
Taking any stimulant drug or supplement could have easily caused the hole I'm in right now. I do believe there are interesting impacts of B12 on some individuals, and its long lasting side effects really made me "learn" to panic.
I did need the assistance of an SSRI to get to a functional state, but it's good you're medication free. Don't turn it down though if things become uncontrollable.
@Methylhead - I agree, learning to panic is a very good way of phrasing it. I suppose it’s like riding a bike... once you learn, you never really unlearn or forget. I suppose through therapy and time, one’s mind would realise that learning to not panic is the lesson that needs to be taught... and that the new default panic behaviour is incorrect. Keep me posted on progress... I still have good and bad days but I’m trying to see it as a journey. Although it’s not an ideal journey, it’s a journey nonetheless with a beginning, middle and eventually an end :)
@MCK2018 hi! I know it’s been so long since you posted. I’m going on day 7 of coming off of these a super B complex vitamin and still feeling shakey and weak. Especially in the hands. And just utterly exhausted. Did your shaking go away??? I’m getting worried.
@Eeklady - yeah, the physical sensations began to disappear for me around week 2. I can remember having some trembling in my legs which finally stopped around week 3. By then end of week 1 I was still struggling to walk and felt sick constantly so I’d say try and avoid getting worried and relax as much as possible. Maybe keep a diary of how you’re feeling so that when things start to fade you can see the contrast and are less fixated on things :)
I used to have panic fDisorders and anxiety I take Lexapro 10 mg but I just started about a month ago and it has worked great on me. But what I would do the B 12 shots at the weight-loss centers and I never felt anything different. You might wanna try that way
Hi so glad this thread is here. In the past I had started to have significant anxiety from taking B complex that resolved when I went off. Just today I am feeling anxiety again. I had started eating yogurt daily, 3 days ago. Apparently, probiotics make B vitamins in your gut from what I am reading. The majority of what I am finding on the internet is B vitamins and yogurt are good for anxiety and depression however, I am having the total opposite effect. I guess some people are sensitive to B vitamins. I can't help but wonder if there are people who could come of anxiety meds if they just look at the B vitamins in there diet or supplements.
Here I was thinking that I might be B12 deficient since the last couple of days I haven't been able to sleep with a mixture of anxiety and panic attacks. I thought maybe I need to take B12 or something to help with my anxiety. I have been having memory loss, laying in bed and having to get up go to the living room turning on the TV and laying on the couch. Last night I think I went to the restroom like 8 times in a matter of 3 hours. Now that I see that B12 is more harmful to me than dealing with it head on I should not even think of using it.
I have been taking D3 2,000 I.U. but I couldn't imagine me having side effects from taking this every day. I'm scared my doctor will more than likely prescribe me B12 if I contact him. Should I stop taking the D3? I have also been told that Metformin (patients with diabetes) have real nasty side effects.
I also just recently got over a sinus infection but still feel I'm not 100% better, could that be the reason for my increased anxiety and insomnia? I'm glad I found this thread warning about the side effects of B12 vitamins. Maybe I should get off these D3 vitamins maybe that's causing me to get worse.
Hello! When I found this thread I was like you; Very Happy to know that these Type Meds/ vitamins gave some or most the same Side effects that I've been having.. I didn't go ask my doctor ONLY BECAUSE I FELT that maybe that's what was causing me to have attacks and also insomnia!! I figured all of these people plus myself might just be on to something. And since I stopped my anxiety hasn't been bothering me so bad like it was when I was taking B complex and magnesium. If you're meds/ vitamins were prescribed to you by your doctor I think you should at least consider talking to them about what do you want to do or what you're planning on doing or what you think you should do for your own good and see their opinion. And as you know Anxiety is a mental illness BUT you are the one in control. You have to fight just as hard as it is. Stay positive as much as possible.
When a negative thought comes think of something more positive than that! And at night; If you pray.. you can pray for us all in this crazy world we live in until you tire yourself out. Or you can do other things to keep your mind busy like start mentally forgiving people.. Forgive and Forget.
I'm so sorry you've been struggling. I would talk to a doctor, if they try to prescribe b vitamins, let them know of their side effects for you. Perhaps a classically trained homeopathic doctor, licensed or a naturopath might help you. I wouldn't recommend asking any worker in any pharmacy, be if traditional or not... But, if the person is licensed, they might have more knowledge. Consult with your doctor, as well. My doctor told me to take vitamins every other day. I only take vitamin d3, 1000, vitamin c 500, biotin 1000, vitamin e 400. I take flaxseed and omega every day, and a magnesium malate, about 200 mg with my late lunch or early dinner. Magnesium has helped my depression and anxiety immensely. I also tried amino acids, and tryptophan helped me greatly at one point for about 2- 3 months to calm down. Melatonin helps me sleep when I have trouble. Stay hydrated, spring water, or a little sea salt helps me calm down as well.
Don't look at computers/tv screens past 8:30pm, read past that. If you need to sleep off any illness, do, but to help your sleep, try to do cardio during the day, before 7pm is best.
Vitamins, herbals, and other "natural" remedies, are not innocuous and can cause side effects and interactions with each other, with OTCs, and prescription medications, sometimes severe.
DO NOT self-medicate! Seek the advice of your doctor, pharmacist, chemist, or a licensed naturopath.
Just realized this was an old post but glad I found it. Used to have panic attacks regularly years ago. Overcame them. Starting taking B12 recently and that old familiar feeling started welling up in my chest. Pulse fast and hard. I started my breathing and distracting myself. I am keeping it at bay. The only thing new are the B12 pills. I am going to stop taking them. Almost panicked at having attacks again. Can't go through that again. Mine were really bad. I say yes B12 can cause feelings of anxiety.
Just wanted to add to this thread. Much like some of the other people on here, I experienced severe anxiety unlike anything I have ever had before from taking methylcobalamin B12. It was about 600-1000 mcg over two days. I didn't not experience the symptoms until day 2+, so it was a very latent onset.
I know people are talking about b-complexes on this thread, but I wanted to chime in from my experience of just this kind of B12, as people are asking if they should only take that one to avoid anxiety. Symptoms I had included:
-Frequent urination (like 10-12 times in a few hours)
-Severe anxiety. Feeling of impending doom... very dark and scary.
-Felt as if I was literally going crazy.
-Major sleep interruptions. Could fall asleep but never stayed asleep more than 4 hours.
-Felt like my head was microwaved.
-Literally worst feeling I have ever had before... this wasn't a typical anxiety attack.
-Gastrointestinal issues.
-Cold extremities.
-Darty vision, very vivid colors first few days.
The severe symptoms lasted about a week and half. I would say I have *mostly* gotten much better since those days, almost a year later. However, it was a long, long recovery for me. My guess is the experience caused some underlying anxiety disorder to surface or I had some sort of PTSD-experience of not knowing what the F was happening to me. For about a month and half, I had major sleep interruptions (no prob falling asleep, but waking up in the middle of the night every hour being on guard). I could easily slip into re-living my experience and feelings. I ended up with mild depression and anxiety disorder (possible generalized, unspecified) that required some CBT and antidepressants. Let's just say my head space went to some scary and weird places that still gives me pause.
I didn't know anything about methylation or MTHFR gene before I took the B12, but searching the internet led me to these topics after my attacks. I ended up being homozygous A1298C after some testing, which I do not think is a coincidence. I think it's also striking because I wasn't looking to hack my genetics with B12, etc. and it wasn't something I could make up in my head. I was also not trying to treat anxiety or any other psychiatric issue because of my MTHFR status.
I would very much hypothesize the connection to this gene mutation and the symptoms I had.
If you end up in the same hole as I do, I would recommend some melatonin and OTC sleep aid, as your sleep might be really messed up for a bit. Try to relax and know that a substance can only work for so long, even if it takes days or weeks to clear. Not knowing that it would end really caused a major traumatic event for me, and like I said, I'm still recovering from it because it was such an odd reaction that doctors (and the internet) couldn't logically explain for me.
Lastly, stop taking thousands of times your recommended daily needs for vitamin B12 (essentially what a single dose of 1000 mcg is)! Unless you're anemic, it's not necessary. A person only needs about 2 mcg a day of B12... take about that in supplement form. Or just eat fish, meat eggs (and green vegetables for methylfolate) and forget the supplement business.
Ive just had, a b12 shot today along with around 400mg of b3 and 100mg of b6 and my anxiety that was getting better flew through the roof... never again... i thought i was been healthly... iam please i found this forum, feeling horrible, i will just have to ride it out and never touch the stuff ever again... think ill try some green tea to try and rake the edge off
Oh my gosh I have the same symptoms as you. Thank you for sharing. I started taking super high strength vitamin b complex with 900mcg of vitamin b12 with all the other vitamin b groups in one tablet every day. Took them for a week. Felt like my body was vibrating from the inside. The worst anxiety I’ve ever had and I don’t suffer from anxiousness at all. Stopped taking them Saturday and still feeling really sick now. I’ve been drinking loads and loads of water to flush out of my system faster. These pills should come with a health warning. Read too many comments from people who are suffering after taking. Hoping the excess water will rid it from my body faster.
