I had strep for a couple weeks without knowing it, later getting some blood tests done that came back positive. All that time before, I had been kissing my boyfriend, and now I worry that I might've given it to him since it's super contagious. He hasn't had any symptoms though (this is like 2 weeks later), and that's different from me because I had all kinds of things happening; just didn't know it was strep. I've finished my antibiotics, and now I'm wondering if it would be safe to kiss again, or if he might have it and I'd just catch it again?

If he has symptoms, you can catch it again. For some people like myself, strep is normal and they have no symptoms. Most people have symptoms and therefore strep isn't normal for them and is treated with an antibiotic. Don't kiss if he has symptoms and ask him to see a Dr. and get it treated so you can kiss again. Have him ask the Dr. when he's safe to kiss again.
