Strattera (atomoxetine) isn't considered addictive or habit-forming like some other medications used for similar purposes. It doesn't create a physical dependence in the same way that certain other drugs might. However, like with any medication, it's essential to follow your doctor's guidance on dosage and usage. abruptly stopping Strattera without medical advice can lead to withdrawal-like symptoms or a return of the symptoms it was treating. Always consult your health care professional for personalized advice regarding your medication.
In my experience the short answer is no. There should be no withdrawal symptoms. However, if it does work for you, you may find that when you stop taking it you miss it and have more trouble concentrating due to impulsivity and jumping from one thought to the next.
