I'm 77, my BP is 122/70 or was. I'm in excellent physical shape with diet and exercise. I noticed I was dizzy and lightheaded, which correlates to high BP, and my BP rose to 153/82. The only thing I can contribute the rise is in a new supplement, I started to take called, stinging nettles. Once previously I had a spike in BP and theorized it was a new supplement and once I discontinued that particular supplement my BP went back to my normal range. I did some research on stinging nettles and everything I read says it's a benefit to you. I also take generic Viagra but never had any rise in BP when using the Viagra. Could stinging nettles be the cause of my high BP.
Would stinging nettles cause a temporary rise in BP?
