I HAVE BEEN BURPING NON STOP AND IT SMELLS. Also my stomach is very bubbly lk I'm going to have diharreha I did hve a loose stool this morning. I'm just wondering is anyone else has experienced this, does it go away and what can I take for the burping and smell?
I started Saxenda 3 days ago. been have some symptoms?

I am wondering how you faired with this? I am now on day 3 of Saxenda and yesterday I was extremely fatigued and in the evening I became nauseous after only 2 bites of my supper (I had eaten nothing else all day b/c I was too tired to eat and honestly not even hungry) After the nausea went away, I began burping non stop, so badly I could barely speak and then this morning the diarrhea started. Today I am not feeling the nausea as I decided to make sure to eat protein for energy, so this morning I had two boiled eggs and a small glass of milk and I did ok with that and for lunch I had a little bit of chicken, a few spoonfuls of beans and some bites of cooked beats with just a little bit of tea, I was full really quick but not nauseous. I did take a nap this morning as I was very tired but I did not sleep all day like I did on day two. I am just now starting to burp again but I started taking prilosec to help with the burping, hoping to see an improvement. I will say that since I weighed Monday morning til this morning I have lost 5 lbs. My starting weight is 243 lbs, I am 5'6" tall and 48 yrs old. I have Grave's disease which ended up with now no thyroid and 3 yrs of trying to get my medication regulated which caused me to put on weight that I have previously worked hard to lose, weight has always been an issue for me but now, nothing I tried before this helped. I have since developed high blood pressure as well and recently after years of other treatments had back surgery in March of this year. My weight was a contributing factor for both of these health issues. I am glad my Dr chose Saxenda and that my insurance is covering it for me (NCBCBS). I will deal with the side effects but I was just wondering how you were able to deal with these same issues. Thanks in NC

Hi, Ive now been on it almost 2 weeks and I still have burping issues from time to time I take a nexium before I do the shot. I do not get nauseous I have never experienced that part. And as for the diarrhea I have it off and on.. I'm not really fatigue any differently then I was already. I do feel bloated a lot and have pains in stomach! I'm so frustrated with this shot. I started at 224 and I weighed myself today and I'm still 224 I don't know why its not working.. But I still have my appetite the shot does not make me full any faster I'm normal.

Today is the end of my first week. I started taking Prilosec shortly after the shot and the burping has stopped and I am no longer feeling bloated. I have also noted that if I eat anything really starchy that I feel bad, so I have started watching more closely what I eat and making better choices, like today, I had a spoonful of spaghetti with only one bite of bread, after I had finished eating and I was fine. I feel full much quicker than before and I am not constantly hungry. My starting weight was 243 lbs and as of today I am at 233 lbs. I am very excited about the changes, even though I was shocked to lose this much weight so quickly but I am sure it will taper off to a more manageable loss, I was expecting a couple lbs a week at the most, but I guess with the drastic changes in my diet I can see why I lost so much this week.
Just before starting the drug I was doing a mile a day on my eliptical, which had been hard to do any walking before as I had to have back surgery in March and had just gotten the ok to work out. This past week however I have been too tired to workout, I guess I am just needing time to adjust and hopefully will be able to get back to my walking soon. I will admit to being a bit concerned about moving up tomorrow as I don't want to get more fatigued than I am already. I find myself sleeping for 3-4 hours at a time during the day and I hate that part so I am hoping it will taper off soon and I will get my energy back. But I honestly am pleased with the drug so far, it is making me change my eating habits and I have always had trouble with that so it makes me feel better about myself. I hope you see changes soon maybe you just need to have a higher dose to give you the results that myself and others are showing.

I am on 2nd day. Burping and heartburn. Nexium not helping. I am going to get prilosec as it always seemed to work best for me. I hope it works. I have lost 4 lbs since I started. Probably cause I have such heartburn. But not as hungry as I always was. Anyone else having bad hesrtburn?

I hope the burping and fatigue stop. The heartburn is pretty bad. I dont know if I will stay on this if heartburn continues. I have hashimotos and have tried everything. I want to stay on but dont want to get an ulcer while I do this medication. My throat is burning. I will lose weight cause I dont want to eat at all. Any suggestions?
