I started with 12.5 mg at 210 pounds. Last summer I dropped over 60 pounds and have continued taking the medicine normally. As of recently, I've started to personally notice some of the side effects I used to have on Vyvanse before I switched over (Irritability, Mood swings, and just being hyper focused on certain things all the time). Since the medication comes in the form of a dissolvable tablet, would it be able to split the tablet in half to try a lower dosage. I would really like to avoid a trip to my local doctor with everything going on especially since i'm not sick. My research shows I shouldnt try and split XR pills, but would this still apply to my tablets?
Thanks.
Can I split my Adzenys in half?

If they are not extended release (XL-XR-ER) and are not coated and are scored then yes otherwise no.
Also if they are sustained release (SR) and controlled release (CR) you can not split them in halves.
"Extended-release dosage consists of either sustained-release (SR) or controlled-release (CR) dosage. SR maintains drug release over a sustained period but not at a constant rate. CR maintains drug release over a sustained period at a nearly constant rate."
This means that if you split in half one of these pills, too much of the active ingredient will be released at once causing most likely potential side effects. I do not want to scare you at all, just giving you the proper information as for you to wean off your medication.
Do inform your Dr..
I believe your pills are ER.
