I have Spironolactone-HCTZ 25/25 and recently had dose cut in half?

That's a really tiny dose. It doesn't come in a dose that small. The pharmacist should cut it in half before you get the pills, since that is what is ordered. It might be possible to break it, but its hard to do that unless you know what you're doing with it. Personally I'd tell my dr it doesn't come that small and it crumbles when its cut, what did he want you to do. He may just tell you to take one every other day.
