I have been diagnosed with rosacea. I mainly get burning pain in my skin and slight redness. Have just tried soolantra last night and woke up to burning which usually doesn’t happen unless I go out in sunlight. I was hoping soolantra would help with my burning sensation. Will it get better? Feel like I have to take antihistamines for relief when I get this burning pain.
Soolantra burning will it improve?

It should improve, but depending on how severe and how long this burning sensation lasts, you should inform your Dermatologist.
I do not think you should be taking antihistamines to calm the burning sensation, that makes it sound that the burning sensation is quite severe. As I suggested I believe you should let your Dr. know.
Although "burning sensation" is considered a common side effect affecting 1% to 10% of people being treated with Soolantra.

Hello
Thank you for your reply.
The only reason I went to the doctors was for the burning rather than the redness even though it is a little red with slight bunny skin. Then they said I had rosacea.
Kind of feels like more burning but it is only day one. I’ll see how I go over the next week.
You are welcome, hope the treatment works well for you.
