It's been weeks since ive developed this symptom, I guess you would say. It started sometime in June I'm thinking it is of some kind allergic reaction? Small little pussy bumps on my hands/fingers and some on my feet. They are real itchy, I pop them and put neosporin on it and cover with a bandaid. After they pop it leaves my skin dry and itchy then more form.. what's going on? What are they? And what causes them? I'd there something out there that could get rid of them? It been very frustrating to deal with.

I had many really itchy small red bumps and tried tried rubbing alcohol, Gold bond eczema ointment, zinc oxide diaper rash ointment, honey and it didn't clear up. The itch was driving me crazy making it difficult not to scratch. I found that if I used lots of cold water it helped the itching. I patted my skin dry as little as possible to avoid irritating my skin further. I stopped putting anything on my skin and switched to a moisturizer that contained aloe (Herbalife) and my skin is about 97% better after about 2 weeks. Any good quality moisturizer with aloe would probably work. I noticed this happened after using Palmolive dish washing liquid during the winter but I'm not 100% sure it was the cause. I never had eczema or an allergic reaction before and think in my case it is age related and an allergic reaction to a cleaner or soap. Huge difference now! Hope this helps someone!
Sounds like dishidrotic excema.
your make to much of all this, you touched something or breathed something that caused them, buy Benadtyl allergies and take it for 2 days. 2 hours after taking it they will begin to go away, stop listening to all the witch doctors
What I would say is you have dyshidrotic eczema... Google images, then speak with your Dr. There is no cure, and treatment is ineffective. Sunlight helps more than anything else, for me.
I have had this for about 12 years. I was told by my Doctor that if I use hand wipes, dish soap, hand soap, certain hand creams I will always have it. It is not contagious. But do not pop the bumps. It causes you unnecessary pain. Try a hand Cream sold on QVC called handfix. It helps. But what causes it is you are allergic to certain chemicals in the soaps you use , and hand wipes or a constant washing of your hands in soaps of all kinds. Your body reacts to the chemicals. The only way mine die down is if I do not pop the blister. I see two spots on my left hand now and only my left hand is having the problem. It used to be both hands and my feet. My left hand will start itching immediately after using any kind of soap. I hope this information will help you try to understand what is going on.
I used to get itchy bumps on my fingers usually in the winter. Very hard skin that no amount of handcream would soften accompanied them. Earlier this year when a bump appeared between fingers and I thought, "Oh, no, here we go again," I applied tea tree therapeutic mineral gel on it. It's made by Jason. It disappeared almost immediately and so far I have been free of this condition which plagued me for years and seemed to worsen every year. There are supplements I've been taking for the first time - Vitamin E and magnesium l-threonate, and they may be the reason bumps have not reoccurred, but when and if they do, I will be applying tea tree oil. Hope this helps.
I believe the comment from the person whose doctor said it was like a cold sore was on point. I think it's a form of herpes simplex, a virus that lives in your body and when the conditions are ripe it reappears. I got a bump again just a few days ago, a little pinprick of a nothing that stung like a sliver, but I knew it wasn't. I applied the Tea Tree Oil and left it alone and it has disappeared. I know what herpes simplex is. First there's a kind of tingling then an itch and soon a blister appears and when it recedes it forms a hard surface on the skin. It usually appears on my thumb but I haven't had an outbreak in years and many more years before that. But this thing, this pimple that appeared recently is I believe the same virus just different and it reappears in the fall. Last year I had no problem. But I can recall previous years the skin on my hand became like leather and no moisturizing hand creams softened it.
A's in my previous comment, I continue to take supplements. I believe keeping your body well nourished (plant-based diet) with supplements is the answer to keeping your immunity strong and viruses under control. Think of it as a cold. It's contagious (a doctor said many in the medical profession get herpes simplex), but can be contained. Hope this helps.
I have a question myself, I have little red itchy bumps on one finger only, it has been like this for about 6 months now and hasn't spread anywhere else or to my husband or anyone else in my family so it couldn't be co contagious so I'm just wondering what in the world it could be, it drives me crazy when it starts itching cause it hurts at the same time and the bumps look like their under the skin and you can pop them and it's just clear like water, my finger even swells and is hard to bend sometimes where I scratch it so much, would love to know if anybody has a clue to what it may be?
Dyshidrotic eczema... Google it, then talk with your Dr.
These small bumps are white blood cells and they pop up when your sick or a virus have attack your body and the white blood cells are trying to figth the sickness or the virus and the bloob cells are telling you that you sick or a virus have attacted you're body
I think you might have something to this. This comes and goes for me but I am currently sick and got them again. I heard about a cream and I am going to try it as well.
Okay so after talking to my boyfriend (who is in Med School) and also doing extensive research online.. These small bumps are part of the eczema family, its called Dyshidrosis.
I first had an "episode" of these small bumps on my foot (if I looked closely at my foot, there was a tiny area with small skin coloured bumps.. about 4-6 smalll tiny bumps and super super super itchy). I initially didn't know what it was, I would wake up in the middle of the night itching and itching my food. I thought it was some sort of bug bite and didn't pay too much attention to it. But after about a week I was dying, it was so itchy. I started using a super moisturizing cream (from the Body Shop, Almond Hand & Nail Cream, $20) and after about two days the bumps went away. I thought this was by complete coincidence.. But then (read below!)
A SIDE NOTE worth mentioning, the bumps would only get really really itchy at night, like unbearable.
Episode 2.
Now, about 6 months later, the side of my middle finger on my right hand is super itchy with tiny little bumps. Last night I put the same cream on my hands, rubbed it in real good (don't be afraid to use a lot before bed).. Then I left a chunk of cream on that bumpy area - within a few minutes the itching went away. I left the chunk of cream there and went to bed. I woke up this morning and checked that area (lotion has absorbed into skin) and the bumps are going down (WOOOHOOOO!). I think after tonight (after I do the same cream remedy), they'll be gone by tomorrow.
I can email photos to anyone wanting to see before and after within two days.
So ladies and gentlemen, I think I have found the ultimate magic remedy!
Let me know if you try it.

Is the cream is for watery bumps
Do they still come ?
I am really glad you nailed your itchy bumps on your hands.
Unfortuanately I have the same problem, and went to see my doctor lawst month, who said it was the same thing people get under their eyes. It is definitely not! Mine has spread to my other hand and other finders, and it is itchy. I find it goes down if I dont touch it, but if I itch it, the bumps get way bigger. these tiny cream coloured bumps are hard, you cannot"pop" them.
Having read many posts on this forum for apparently the same thing, I am certain they are not!
Some people on here obviously have eczema ( which I also get ), and the other people, i think have what I have, which I now know to be the Staph virus.
I have other bumps, like boils which are not boils, but spongy hard bumps on another part of my body, and my doctor told me I may have the staph virus, which I had been treated for previously, but it obviously has not gone away. Staph virus is hard to treat and can make you quite ill, while also being contagious.
I would urge anyone on here who has what I have described, to go to the GP and ask to be investigated for staph.
I hope that helps guys.
I too have this condition once again... it's been about a year since the last episode. I've done extensive research and looked at images that are on point! I found this site information to be very helpful Wikipedia-search Dyshidrosis. I have yet to find the "miracle cure". But will update when I find something that works...

I too have these but I think is as I told my doctor deep water type blister that if I'm lucky can get some watery fluid from them they stop hurting in few hours. They sort of swell my hand itch like crazy and very painful if I leave them be. He said they were a type of under skin cold sore, later reading some where very common in people who may have shingles and or mouth sores . he says these are not contagious but I haven't got the cash to keep digging so I treat me and don't touch my grandkids or cook for anyone. And if anyone has something other then scabies which are nothing like these (I had as a kid for months on end) those are hot n miserable way different then this pain n sensitivity! Hope this help. Also I use sometimes chap six Carmen on them when stings as it kinda cools the burn if they do! Some don't.
My mom had this when I was younger. I had it and delt with it for a while as well. The creams did not work. I did however find a lotion that gets rid of it. It has been nice. I have been using it for 4 months. I would love to share information with people. It would be nice to see if this works for you as well. It is all natural plant based lotion.
which lotion did work for you?
can you share ?

I used sulfameth/tmp ds pills. it worked
it cleared it up in about 4 days.
they are anti-biotics usually used to fight off staff infection and rashes. I dont know if you can get it without a prescription you might though. before that it was cleared up it was spreading everywhere. the bumps. I dont think its excema because it spreads on contact with other parts of your skin
I got acrylic nails done two years ago have had white bumps on one finger every since now spreading to other fingers on same hand they go come back don't pop them or let anyone touch them you will spread it.
It's scabies. I'm sitting here with the 12 hour treatment right now, don't itch it don't come in prolong contact with anyone don't sit on someone's bed or couch. It will spread. Tell your doctor, if they say it's not insist on the test. A microscope examination of your skin. U will see the mites , get treatment and if your doctor does not mention it buy lice spray to kill the scabies on it bed, blankets, and car seats inform people u come into contact with and do your best to eliminate it and try to never get re infected. Everyone in your house should be treated at the same time.
U will only see the mites with a microscope
It's definitely not scabies because I've had them and have to be treated by an expensive cream. Scabies is a microscopic mite that bores into the skin and lays eggs. It then spreads throughout the body. Everywhere except the face. May take two applications of the cream. Marcusaanderson is wrong. Sorry Marcus.
