I have mild asthma or asthma after nasal sugery few years ago ,and throat drip. I never have any problems during day ,at night some days after few hours of sleep ,i take ventolinhfa to sleep and breath better. I do not take daily asthma medication ,as i feel it is not needed.
Why do I sleep better amd more after taking Ventolin HFA one spray at midnight as needed?

Hi dili,
I don't use a daily asthma inhaler nor do I take asthma meds. But lately with many things in bloom and a lot of forest fire smoke in the air, I have had to use my rescue inhaler at night. Otherwise I would get no sleep at all from coughing. I probably need to go get a check up, but haven't made the time.

Hi, i agree. Breathing difficulties will affect your sleep, so the Ventolin will give you relief, causing you to sleep better. I use a Ventolin inhaler, and i also seem to be able to relax, rest much better after use.
