I do take take presription medications due to heart attack 3 years ago. Also take Vitamin C, multivitamin, Co-q 10, fish oil, saw palmetto and milki thistle. I am wondering- do you take any "break" from vitamins? Lets say once a week, a month??? Or you take them all the time with no breaks? There is a very little data about this. Thank you in advance for your answer

the best thing to do is take them for 5 days and then don't take them for 2 days. this way, any extra anything that your body shouldn't have has a chance to leave. exceptions from your list would be the fish oil and vit c.
I have never heard that you needed to take a break from vitamins. I don't know much about herbs and coq10 tho.
back in the day just skipping one day was enough. as an example, today it's hard to find a multi without too much vit a in it which can be toxic. so, you give it a couple of days to avoid build-up and let it leave your system. you need to give your system a rest so other vitamins and especialy herbs have a chance to exit. the vitamin companies wouldn't tell you this because they are running a business. once again, it comes down to being responsible for our own health. BTW kaismama coq10 is a fabulous supplement, though a little pricey. if you get a min, you might want to research it.
