Yes it does work, I was worried and my period came the following week it was suppose to. Because it dissolved in my mouth and I promised I would write a report if it did work and it did.
Yes, it still does what it's supposed to but like it was previously stated, the more you use it the less effective it'll be. I personally wouldn't ever consider hormonal birth control again. Any type of hormonal birth control out there (pill, shot, implant, etc) can cause serious problems, and even lead to infertility. While I was on the pill, I had a period that lasted nearly two months and that was the last straw. It can take months or even years for your body to get back to a near-regular cycle. There are plenty of non-hormonal birth control methods that are effective when used properly. Here's a list of them: male condom, female condom, vaginal spermicides, diaphragm, contraceptive sponge, Lea's Shield, cervical cap (FemCap), and IUD. Be safe.
First of all, you should be scared! You are playing with fire! Plan B is NOT birth control! It is not meant to be used as a form of birth control. It is supposed to be reserved for emergency contraception like a condom break or rape. It is not meant to be used more than a few times. Taking Plan B gives you a huge blast of hormones and it can throw off your cycle for months and taking like you have been you are going to be so messed up it may take a month or two to get straightened out again. Even if the dose melted, as long as you swallowed it, you got the dose but you need to be thinking about getting a regular form of birth control as you are obviously sexually active. Plan B is not designed for you to think "oh I can go have unprotected sex now and take Plan B after and I'll be OK" It is not meant for frequent use. Sooner or later it will fail and you will wind up pregnant. Regular birth control is about 98-99.9% effective. Plan B is only 80% effective so there is a big difference!
DzooBaby is right you r playing with fire.
Thank you ..
