The pill is messing up your cycle. That second bleeding was breakthru bleeding, not a period. You don't have safe days to have sex, you have to consider any time you have unprotected sex you could get pregnant. Why aren't you using protection or birth control? Now here you are worrying, and I can't give you any answers, you'll have to wait if your period is late, and the ipill usually makes it late.
thanks for your help. as you say second bleeding was break thru bleeding.. but it happened like a normal period for 4 days. so i thought its my period and it might have happened early because of i pill. as my first period was on around 2nd april and i had i pill on the 12th and again bleeding on the 22nd april according to the cycle can it be my fertile days? but how i can i be bleeding normal like periods in my fertile days? am not that worried about being pregnant am just in a confused state. and trying to get answers.
If you do NOT want to get pregnant, there are NO safe days! It is very difficult to tell if you are ovulating. Emergency contraceptive pills work by delaying ovulation briefly. If you have already ovulated, they dont do anything. They dont "hold you for a few days" either because you cannot be certain when ovulation will occur. Women have been known to ovulate during their period so never count your period as being "safe". It is not the bleeding part that determines fertility, it is when you ovulate and you CAN ovulate while bleeding! If you want to avoid pregnancy, take your behind to the clinic or the gynecologist and get yourself on regular daily birth control pills (or whatever method you and your Dr decides will work best for your lifestyle) Emergency contraception is only about 80-95% effective depending on where you are in your cycle. Regular birth control pills stop you from ovulating altogether so if there is no egg, there can be no baby. Regular birth control pills are about 98-99.9% effective when taken correctly!
