Sertraline and Eliquis?

My father takes Eliquis (5mg) and Sertraline (25 mg), once a day. He’s 83. I haven’t noticed anything concerning. He’s been on them together for several months.

i take sertraline and eliquis my heart doc is aware of all drugs i take. have only taken eliquis about 4months but no problems.

All I can say is I take Eliquis and have had no problems other that being careful to avoid nicks and cuts. No blood tests like Coumadin is a big plus. I am unfamiliar with Sertraline.

I just had an Afib ablation yesterday and had no bleeding problems with incision site or IV's. I am 67, your're still a youngster. Best to your health!

Is the same Dr prescribing both? If yes, there shouldn't be any concerns unless you do not have faith in your Dr, in which case the Internet is not the place for a solution and you may want to question his reasoning or find another Dr you feel comfortable with.
If on the other hand there are two Drs involved, one needs to know what the other is prescribing, and you should ask either one of them about this.
