Is it safe to take Valium with Klonopin?

Can I ask why you are prescribed 2 benzo drugs? I could see if 1 was specifically for sleep (Restoril, Halcion) or a daily long acting benzo like Valium or Klonopin and a Xanax for prn anxiety but it interests me as to why a Dr would Rx that combination? but yes you will be fine but 10mgs isn't a small amount, its not huge either and remember they both stay active for a long time so be careful in regards to the sedation

Raindog; Yes as long as this is what your doctor wants. Just never take any closer than 2 to 4 hours of taking the Klonopin. Many people take one and use the other for an as needed problem. such as a panic attack or sleep. you could try and get by with 5 mg or 1/2 tablet to start and if you still wake up then take the other half.
