I can't find any information about whether contact with the Intrarosa insert is safe for a man or whether intercourse shortly after inserting Intrarosa would affect how the medicine works.

Because the medication melts in the vagina, there is no specific time frame but they do recommend a dosage after sex.
If taken at bedtime, you could have intercourse in the morning.

I looked and found no information either but I suspect that mixing it up with extra fluid is not the best idea and would be inclined to use a condom. I find it strange that none of the information mentions sex at all as it seems such an obvious question. I would be asking my doctor for a definitive yes or no.
