The gums around my teeth, that have a cavity in them hurt very badly. I have taken Ibuprofen, Tylenol and nothing seems to touch the pain.
How can I relieve extreme tooth pain temporarily, until I can see a dentist?

Toradol is the best pain reliever for dental pain
First of all toradal is a prescription and a pretty powerful one at that. Also, people are looking for home remedies until the can get to a dentist.
I am goin to virtually smack sara ifi read one more post telling others to use torodol to get rid of toothache/tooth pain. Its a prescribed pain reliever you would get from your dentist..ITS NOT A HOME SOLUTION or HOME REMEDY, which is what this particular thread is about. You obviously wouldnt need this thread if you could use torodol because that WOULD MEAN YOU HAVE BEEN TO THE DENTIST ALREADY. You sara, make my tooth hurt worse..thank you. N btw, what home remedy worked best for me has been a combo of 4 things:
1) swallow 3-4 IBUPOFEN
2) use good ole warm water n salt solution (swish lightly around affected area for a few mins)
3) follow with peroxide swishing (i used it full strenghth bc of severity of my pain) i let it sit on affected area for abt 45 secs, spit out, repeat 3-4 more times
4) rubbed xtra strenghth orajel on tooth and around tooth on gum with q-tip
Yes its a few steps, but its almost a 100% success to get rid of the jumping throbbing painful nerve that also gives you that horrible headache with it. With doing these steps, i went from a miserable, painful 10 down to a comfortable 1-2 on the pain scale.
Whatever remedy you decide to use, i wish your pain away as it is a pain that is equal to getting stabbed in the head in my opinion..IT FN HURTS.
You can purchase clove oil at any vitamin shop, or even online for severe toothache pain. It's been around for years. It will definitely help until you can get to a dentist.
Going back and forth in three hour intervals of Tylenol and ibuprofen will help. Also use Listerine or hydrogen peroxide and hold it near the affected area for a minute or two. Also regularly sip cool but not cold water and make sure you're plenty hydrated but not more than 2 gallons per day. The hydrogen peroxide may burn initially because of cleaning the affected area but within five minutes or so it should stop the pain for a longer period until the medicine takes affect. Just make sure the area is very clean as often as possible. Use The hydrogen peroxide to finish bubbling out anything that may still be in the area and ridding any infected area of debris.Hope this helps, it worked for me.
I am aware that this is an old article but I'd like to share my wisdom. I have tried the mouth wash, orajel, vanilla extract, salt water, and painkillers. In my opinion the mouth wash works the best when it hurts but not when it's severe. For severe tooth pain I've found that peroxide will completely stop the pain along with headaches and such from the tooth. What I do is let the peroxide bubble for about 5-10 minutes (it may feel weird or sting a tad bit but the results are well worth it!). Do not swallow the peroxide of course. I hope this but of information is useful because last night the pain in my tooth was unbearable and I wasn't near my home or peroxide and my Listerine was doing nothing for me, got home this afternoon with the entire side of my mouth hurting and a pain in my neck with a headache. The peroxide saved me from that extreme pain. :)
You have saved my life! 20 minutes ago i was crying in pain! Then i did the Peroxide for 10 min. And my pain went from a 10 to a 2! THANK UUUUU SO MUCH! God bless you
I am pregnant an I've tried salt in a paper towel on my tooth , I've taking amoxicillen , I've taken ibuprofen , ive taken tylenol , I've drunk salt Walter , I've used peroxide alone , I've used peroxide in hot water , ive used pure vanilla extract. , its unreal like none of this has worked for me nothing at all
Take an Advil liquagel and poke a tiny hole in it. Squeeze the liquid on your finger and apply it to the tooth it will numb it. Don't get it on your tongue though, it tastes awful!!!
So I wanted to say about the cold water is once you get into the habit it can be hard to break and it can make the pain much worse as after a while your teeth begin to throb. I have cried over the pain that in the beginning was mild irritation. The best thing to do when that happens is to suck it up and deal with it until the throbbing goes away.
As an EMT who once had their stomach pumped don't take all of the over the counter pain killers. That just spells disaster.
I have just got my braces put on and I have tried everything like : Tylenol, Advil, acetaminophen, Naproxen sodium and nothing has worked. Need help what should I use. Severe pain is in effect.
I'd ask for toradol. It's the best pain reliever for extreme dental pain
From what I experienced, it may help to hold cold water in your mouth, replenish it constantly (when it goes warm). I'm going through this type pain right now. Generally, before it's severe pain, you will have some warning sign a tooth needs attention. Don' wait, get it taken care of then.
Thank you! The ice cold water treatment worked almost immediately, stopped the throbbing and hopefully will get me through until Monday when I can see the dentist.
I found the cold water treatment worked when the cold water hit the aching tooth it relieved the pain, but i found each time i used the cold water technique and spit the water out the pain would be worse than before. Also its kind of uncofortable to constantly keep the water in your mouth and having to keep replacing it.Thats just my experience.Other people's might be ddifferent, but good luck.
I agree, it's far from a permanent fix. As soon as my cool/cold water warmed, I'd spit it out and replaced it, time and time again. Yes, it is awkward, and timing a trip to the dentist can be a headache, while the tooth isn't aching. For me, I had to get the tooth pulled, I think it was molar #3. Dentist also sees some infection in another tooth (canine) that may have elevated the pain.
If cold water is working, you are looking at a root canal. It cold water hurts then you have a cavity.
Well Jkoch1, before any of these new medications were around, and even now I use my mothers remedy. Close your mouth. Let saliva build up around the affected area and blamo, free natural numbing agent.
I didnt know this was a tooth ache remedey .I currently have a bad tooth ache, and did this kinda by accident.I realized when I did it the pain would completely go away,so i kept doin it.It worked better than the pain relievers i was using.Than i went to this site looking for other suggestions and seen this.It sounds far fetched, but really does work.I was fasinated to see this on the first page I looked at.It absolutely works, but its temporary relief. Thanks for sharing this,I find it fascinating something so simple like this worked so well. Thanks for informing others and myself about it.
I would NOT be without Myrrh Extract Tincture as I have a kinda chronic tooth issue and when it flairs up I hit it with the Myrrh and it goes away. I saved myself from a major dental work, as dentists would love to do their work and make their money.
Grape seed extract for 19 yrs I've been taking it, also keeps gums healthy... check it out...
What is Myrrh Extract Tincture, and where would I find such a thing. I've heard of the grape seed extract, and if it works for you, I'll give it a try. I'm on multiple meds and have awful teeth because of that and heredity. Currently, one of the worst toothaches in my life have come upon me. Not only does the tooth itself hurt, but the one next to it, and the jaw below it. The pain even keeps me up at night. Last night, it woke me up. Please someone help me, this pain is right up there with an earache and childbirth! Thank you... in advance... Michlle
I used an off label OTC med. Called "Kanka" made for canker sores but didn't have orajel on time and pain hurt to bad and on a weekend of course! The Lanka is amazing it numbs stronger than anything but heals infection great. Guess its because canker sour is open sore and its heals that why not tooth infection. Worked for years I tell all with toothache the same and I get big thank you later and smiles at no more pain. Only down side don't drink after you apply it . it creates a film were ever you put it but numbs great even though shows same major pain med in orajel works much stronger just can't explain why. But works! If you drink it will wash it away. Other one is warm salt water swish. Not hot not cold but good warm. Warm will sooth salt is naturally healing. Don't drink swish ( slowly carefully if in major pain) and spit out or open mouth and let fall out. Some spit hard it it can hurt. Swishing quick can cause pain to just go slow.
At times of severe pain I'd swish and just hold a bit so salt water sat on bad tooth area. Warm does sooth . hot can be more painful just like ice water if you teeth are sensitive to hot and cold. I do just below hot but warmer than room temp. But for severe pain Kanka. If dentist OK amoxacillian anti biotic works good for bad infection but ladies... Yeast infection alert here. Of course not all will get one but common for this med. I get doc to order diflucin ( pill for yeast infection) take it 24 hours after start antibiotic and usually don't get it. Yeah who needs tooth ache and yeast infection at same time. Hope this helps. Kanka has saved many teeth from being pulled. Salt water more for minor issue with teeth before major bad.
Good solution. I'd like to add that, as a past microbiologist, I can tell you that the salt in the water makes the wound from surgery less likely to become infected. Salt is a hostile environment for most infectious agents. It can also hurt when it touches the wound.
My mom two me 2 weeks ago "kidney failure happens to some people who take diflucin" my sister passed away due to complications of kidney failure, pancreas failure, she was on dialysis, and only 31 died at home and heart heart i guess stopped. Also had been in a coma 3 times before that.
I have been on the antibiotic Keflex now for several days and it hasn't helped my toothache at all even though it did help the sore in my nose heal. Nothing I've tried has helped yet at all.
I know this is an old thread but after reading 5million posts since I have been in agony on and off for 5 weeks with severe pain..swollen jaw non stop throbbing that everytime i thought would go away it simply moved to a new spot on my mouth..ive been on minocycline and percocet and no relief.it actually got bad enough I cut my gums with an exacto blade to relieve pressure..the one thing that finally worked was oregano oil I got from a herbal shop.I applied it directly to the swollen area and tooth then swallowed the run off..finally 48 hours minimal pain just a slight ache every now and then. I hope this helps someone cause jeez I know how horrible any pain in The mouth can get and how relentless they can be too.
That's amazing! I'll remember that in case anyone I know or on this site has a similar problem. Thank you.
I mean the oregano oil is amazing, not the exacto knife!
I am just wondering what is the strongest medicine out there i can use until i go see my dentist like what kind of 800 hundred mg i can use i was told that tramadol is the best the only thing with that is it's only 50mg that's not enough for the pain so could any one suggest anything else besides the 50mg i need some thing stronger that that hope i can find some thing stronger than that have a nice day
Oil of Oregano is amazing. After reading this I applied some on a quetip. I could feel it penetrate. NO pain since, no need for more advil. Very swollen face, but that doesn't hurt. Will see the dentist in about 3 hours. Thank you, so glad I had some oil of oregano--heard it was good but didn't know what for and never used it.
I was awake for 3.5 hours in soon much pain. No mess helping, debating on going to the store to get stronger stuff (which I did anyways) finally went to the store but before leaving the house. I put some Oregano oil in the area. It was like INSTANY relief.
I only wish I started looking stuff up earlier in the night. I still got stuff like the kanka stuff someone else talked about. But this oregano oil is amazing
I just tried the oil of oregano and it seems to have worked! Burns my lips a little since I got some on them but it's worth it...
Old post I know but I'm having this same issue and I am getting no relief
Yes. Professionally speaking, oil of oregano is one of the most potent anti-microbial oils known. Use caution around eye area please. Good to use this in your regular rinse water after brushing everyday (just a few drops). Safer than Listerine, etc,due to the additives in those products. Also, watch your toothpastes! Most contain sugar. I also highly recommend coconut oil pulling ( you can Google this) as an effective part of your daily dental hygiene routine. Miles of microscopic tubules run throughout our teeth where bacteria like to live. Coconut oil, and specifically THIS oil, (because of its fatty make up) attaches itself to these bacteria and draws it out. Good luck, and easy on the sugar and white flour products! These damage from the outside AND inside.
Where do I Get Oregano Oil From??? Please and Thank You Silver
You should really be alarmed!I was in that situation before th dr diagnosed me with Neuropathy!I did some research and find out that an previous tooth extract caused severe damage to my nerve endings in my mouth!we should never treat the symptom we can create more damage its 2013 and iv only experienced this severe toothache now and the extraction took place 20years ago!strange hey!previous mouth surgery can damage your nerve ending!I no!because iv experienced it and th only surgery I had was that extraction than.we must be proactive with our whole Being!its the only Body we have!all of th best.

I have neuropathy in my teeth and gums as diagnosed by a dental doctor, MD. My doctor prescribed Trileptal for it. But what is your solution to treat it? I had a root canal in that area about 8 years ago. How else do you treat it besides treating the symptoms? Please help me with this. My mouth pain has been extreme--now a bit better with the med, but there are some very hazardous side effects to the medication, including fatalities.
Find an Oral Surgeon with a Heart, they really do exist!!
Many times Dentist will call in prescriptions when it is Friday and they know you will be in pain all weekend
If that did not work I would use 800 milligrams of advil every 6 hours and Tylenol every 4 hours
I would use the numbing Meds like orajel but I would also put aspirin directly on the tooth that is hurting
Be well
D
To build on your aspirin comment. I can't take aspirin orally, but if I have a bad toothache, sometimes what I'll do is crush up a few aspirin into fine powder (I have a pill crusher just for this), mix it in with hot hot tap water, swish it around in the cup to dissolve the aspirin, and then take a sip and let it sit in the area of my mouth where I'm having pain for a minute or two then spit it out and repeat until all of the aspirin water is gone. It may sound gross but it doesn't taste as nasty as it sounds hehe. I think that there's a brand out there that sells powdered aspirin, too.
That's pretty dumb. To put aspirin on tooth???
I don't think it's dumb. If it worked for this person with a lot of dental pain, it can work for others. You hurt because there are nerves in your gums and teeth. Why not put a pain reliever in and/or around where the pain is? It may get to the nerves.
The crushed ibuprofen swished around in the affected area along and taking it orally seemed to work. Thank you for the crushed ibuprofen in hot water idea @PoisonAlice!
if you try to apply asprin to your gums, don't use too much because it's made of salylic acid which can cause painful sores.
Warren, why is that dumb? IT WORKS!!
I always put BABY ASPIRIN on my affected tooth!! I use the baby aspirin just because it TASTES BETTER! (Bubblegum Flavored!) I figure if I'm gonna crush it into a powder and let it sit in my mouth for any good amount of time, it needs to taste OKAY. If it tastes NASTY like normal aspirin, I wouldn't BE ABLE to leave it in my mouth near as long. I would be spitting it out! (LOL!) SOMETIMES it works and SOMETIMES it doesn't. I've tried putting a TIIINY BIT of Loritab on my tooth too but not much because I LOOOVE them too much, and if I crush it up and put it on my tooth, it's like I wasted it and it's that much less I can TAKE!!! Sometimes it'll work and SOMETIMES it doesn't too!! Either way, whether I put the baby aspirin on it, Loritab on it, Orajel/Anbesol on it I ALWAYS put an ice pack on the outside afterwards.
So I'm starting to conclude that ICE PACK ITSELF just MIGHT be working more than the Baby Aspirin, Loritab, Orajel/Anbesol because it's the only thing that's consistent every time I try stuff. Like sometimes I'll use Baby Aspirin and then an Ice Pack afterwards. Sometimes I'll do the Loritab and then Ice Pack afterwards. Sometimes I'll use Orajel/Anbesol and then Ice Pack allll upppp afterwards. So it may be the ICE PACK that's working better than the meds I put on it, because every time I DO get relief from my tooth pain, the ICE PACK has been the recurring trend each time, whereas the meds I take VARY. Which I just heard today from an ACTUAL DENTIST that SUPPOSEDLY putting Aspirin directly on the tooth DOES NOT help and in fact causes MORE problems. He said that in order for Aspirin to work, it has to be absorbed into the bloodstream. (Which I ALREADY knew!) But then he said that if you put it on your tooth, it DOESN'T get in the bloodstream, therefore will be rendered useless or like I said, more harmful. (Which I DIDN'T know that part, because I assumed that it would absorb into the GUM around the tooth and get into the bloodstream THAT WAY, but I must have been wrong?) He said that it creates a white "chemical burn" inside your cheek/mouth from some kind of acid that's in the Aspirin and I seen a picture of it. (I CANNOT for the LIFE OF ME remember what the acid was CALLED though... GRRR!) Which I don't know if the baby Aspirin that I USE has the same acid in it or not considering it IS... BABY Aspirin! LOL! (I haven't noticed any "white chemical burn" inside my cheek/mouth.) But either way I DONT REALLY CARE! If it works or I THINK it works, I'm gonna DO IT!!! (Because tooth pain is ONE of the WOOORST PAAAIIINS EVERRRR!!! It's just a smidgen behind childbirth... I SWEAR... LOL!!) And if it works for someone else, then I'm all for it too!!! It seems like the little "white chemical burn" inside the cheek/mouth would definitely be the lesser of two evils!!! Which the way the doctor said it, it seemed to me as if the patient he was referring to about the "white chemical burn" was UNAWARE of it themselves. He said they came in complaining of the TOOTH PAIN, said they had put Aspirin directly on the tooth but it didn't help AT ALL, and then when he went to perform the procedure, he noticed the white chemical burn inside their cheek. It seems like to me, if the patient had been aware of the white chemical burn on the inside of their cheek, when they were talking to the doctor and listing their "symptoms" they'd ALSO list that they had this white film thing on the inside or their cheek and it hurt or whatever! I would SO deal with the little white chemical burn on the inside of my cheek/mouth that obviously DOESN'T HURT in order to get relief from the EXCRUCIATING TOOTH PAIN by putting Aspirin on the tooth directly!! Buuut that's just ME...
The comment about its dumb to put aspirin on a tooth well its not... when you are in so much pain due to a tooth ache you will do just about anything to relieve the pain..putting aspirin on a tooth has actually help the pain on many many occasions..
Wene my teeth hurt a while ago I rubbd exedren on the area it works but burns my gums vary bad
Im currently using goody powders but fpr some reason it has to be the Arthritis strength! I put it on the gum and in seconds the pain is gone. Ive crushed pills b4 but this seemed to do the trick faster!
It isnt dumb and it does work. I have horrible teeth. The only dumb thing would be doing it all the time, it can actually make it worse by eating tooth enamel and surrounding tissue.
You say pretty dumb to put asprin on a toothache, it's not dumb! What doesn't work for you may work for someone else vise versa!
hi am in a lot of tooth pain right now (nerve jumping) just want to say putting half of aspirin in the tooth that hurts really does help the nerve pain.
Best thing that helped me was vanilla ! I didnt realized it was expired had a mouth full swished it around for a couple minutes was numb spit it out and feel right to sleep
The best pain reliever for dental pain is apo ketorlac. Toradol
To adwarren. You are a dummy. This aspirin has worked time and time again... not just for me, but for co-workers I told about it. When you are in need, try all your stuff that doesn't work. Then, try the aspirin. Don't knock it till you try it!!
I've found that putting lemon extract on and around aching tooth and gum will relieve quite a bit of the pain
Please don't put aspirin directly on your tooth/teeth. It could do more damage than good, and that's not how aspirin works in the body. I would recommend for you to take ibuprofen, Tylenol, or whatever anti inflammatory you use. Take as directed. Swish with a warm saltwater solution, listening, or both (not at the same time). Otc toothache medication can numb it for you until the ibuprofen has time to take affect. Medical science will tell you to use an ice pack to reduce swelling and that works without a doubt, but I've also seen people get relief from a heating pad. Last, get to your dentist as soon as possible.
I have had multiple dentists suggest the same thing. Either get Goodies powdered asprin or crush, then add to water to make a rince.
To the person that doesn't thank aspirin on the tooth will work .well your wrong. It does take the edge off the pain. It just takes a few min to go to work. If you think about it the make aspergillus, aspergum ,it all works the same way.just takes time to absorb.
Who told you to put aspirin on your tooth? Not your dentist. Aspirin is an acid and will further decay the tooth
I have "rampant tooth decay" due to medical conditions, medications, and over-brushing my teeth and brushing the enamel off (a touch of OCD right there ;) ), and I have the same problem. Advil works well if you can use it, but I can't. Excederin worked well when I was still able to take it, yet another medication I can't take. I was given a prescription for viscous 2% lidocaine, and while that works for 15-20 minutes, the pain comes back when it wears off. What I've found to work best is, now trust me on this, is swishing Listerine in my mouth for about a minute. Make sure it has methyl salicylate in it, too. I think that's what makes it work. When I do that, and keep a heating pad (covered and on low heat) on the part of my mouth that hurts, it gets rid of most of the pain.
You have just saved my life! Listerine has done it, I can't believe it
Thank you so much for posting this because I couldn't get any sleep and now the pain is at least to a minimum I even nummed my gums.
Hello there,
Oral pain is often Excruciating , and, if you do come across a cavity, or an area that is painful- like you have a filling lost/gone, a product available at CVS/WALGREENS, etc.. Called 'Temparin', almost like a plaster consistency,in a cylindrical form,(purple container)- works great by filling the hole, hardens with a little water-15mins, no more pain. Pack a small ball shaped piece into the problem area- remove excess-no more pain!
Be Sure to see a Dentist/Physician quickly as the problem must be corrected!
Hope this helps anyone with this issue. DJ

Today i was lucky enough to learn the value of Listerine because i have the pocketmist... i can honestly say that this stuff works great for my gum irritation after having a root canal
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this life saving tip. 11pm on a Sunday night, no prayer of seeing my dentist for hours and I just happened upon this tip. The pain went from absolutely unbearable to tolerable within minutes. There is no pain like a bad toothache. I never would have thought of Listerine. I now have the area covered with anbesol and I'm about to apply the heating pad. Thank you for bringing me from the shaking weeping mess I was 20 minutes ago to someone who might even get a few hours rest. Bless you.
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!! Best tip ever about Listerine, my husband has an awful toothache and hasn't been able to get rest, he's been in unbearable pain to the point of years and tried everything... He swished Listerine and said within seconds the pain was bearable and felt relieved. Thank you again, who knew Listerine would help! :)
I have a terrible tooth ache tried the advil and the listerine. The listerine only worked when I kept it in my mouth but it still hurts. What can I do?
i have two teeth that need to be extrated and have an appointment to do this but i am in pain just the same. i am on the verge of going into my garage and pulling them myself but i read the listerine trick and it does work. thanks
I have been living with tooth agony for three days now!! Thank you so so very much for the Listerine tip!!! I may just get some rest tonight now :)!!!
Hi just wanted to warn that I tried the Tamparin temporary filling and it made my tooth worse because the plaster pushed on the nerve in my tooth and OMGOSH did that hurt even worse!!! I have an appappointment with my Dentist on the 18th!!! Can not wait!!!
Thank you!!! Listerine just prevented me from yanking a tooth out myself.
OMG you have just saved my life. Thank you so much for posting this.
Awesome answer ! Listerine!!!
Oh my god, thank you thank you thank you!!
Thanks for this post listerine is my best friend thank u
I could not believe the amount of resounding comments for Listerine so I tried it myself with what appeared to be full crown decay of molar on my lower jaw. Literally the pain went away immediately and it is just a faint memory! I swish for one minute twice a day, awesome relief up until my Dental appointment. THANK YOU
Today I've had the worst toothache that I have ever had. I found this thread and couldn't believe how many people have said Listerine works instantly so I had to try it. Thank you thank you thank you. This actually and has kept me from going crazy.
It works some what. I think Dr Tinchnors works way better need a little water tho.
Thank you so much for this tip!! I'm pregnant and my right molar broke in half and I have a bad cavity on the bottom. There's not much I can take or use. Orajel does not really work anymore. But listerine is a life saver. Dentist appointment in a week!!
Does listerine really works 4 a bad toothache cos I have mine all weekend and nothing 2 be working I can't see my dentist until Friday can't sleep with the pain
Hey so I'm like dying here. It's 5 am. I've been up since 2. I have heard good things about listerine. The only problem is I don't have any. Does any mouth wash do the trick??
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Listerine worked for me as well!!
It works for me. I think gargling Listerene is painful and makes your oral cavity numb that's why it works.
I had to make an account just to say thank you for posting this I don’t know why or how it works but it definitely works totally blew my mind
To the person who even started this and mentioned Listerine, I wish I can kiss you. And the more I read and how more of you also said to use it. You are all little angels I’m my book tonight. The tooth pain was unbearable and nothing was working only this!!! I took 4 Advil too and Oriel did nothing so thank you so much.
you might want to try advil gel caps and orajel too for the gums. sometimes a warm compress will help. I hope you feel better and this info works for you
If you add a warmhot compress heat increases swelling an pain however adding a cold compress reduces swelling an numbs the affected tooth/gum
Agreed. No Listerine? Try a strong salt & very warm water swish.
This is an effective traditional way to treat toothache. Get water very warm ((as hot as you can stand without hurting your mouth), add salt until it is like sea water, and hold it in your mouth around the tooth until it feels cool. You heat up the tooth and the salt seems to draw out excess fluid around infection and swelling. Those fluids make pains especially when you chew on tooth, so the hot salt water is helpful. My dentist says the saltwater soothes inflammation of the gums too.
You might try a numbing agent like Oragel.
Toradol is the best pain reliever for dental pain
Please be careful with oragel or like. You can burn the nerve if you get dirrctly on it through a large vavity. If this happens the pain from the original tooth ach will seem minor to the new pain.
Another numbing trick which is fast acting and cost effective is ice. Either use an ice pack or simply apply ice cubes in a bag.
bestpup
@kb I think that is what may have happened to me. I was having a slight toothache yesterday and applied oragel and the pain has since intensified like 10x nonstop :( I've taken ibuprofen, tylenol, and have applied a warm compress but the pain has not budged one bit.
Absolutely agree. Liquid lidocaine won't eat your gums, lips, cheeks & tongue up.
