Protonix - Can Protonix appear as a form THC in persons that are drug tested?

I have a prescription for protonix an had to take a urinalysis for new job placement. A line showed up for THC I was dumb founded by the lab tech telling me protonix can cause a false postive. I don't smoke marijuana so I was completely puzzled . They let me come back in a week an this time it was negative. I passed an got the job but I was adimate and wanted a do over. I'll never forget that lab tech telling me it was probably my protonix. As i went down my medication list,they said Protonix was the culprit. Glad it was resolved at the time. But I'll never forget that experience.

What can you take to reduce the THC in your system?

As a mental health care professional, I would have them prove the prescription... show you the bottle or talk to the Dr., make sure that the prescription is theirs and make sure that it is within the date range of the UA.
