Pregabalin - Will pregabalin for anxiety help me if it’s dose is increased?

I've had severe GAD for at least 30 years now. And, I honestly have never been offered that type of medication for any type of panic/anxiety disorder or sleep issues
That class of medication is not prescribed for any part of anxiety or sleep. That medication is typically used for nerve pain associated with either nerve damage or fibromyalgia. I think I spelled it correctly lol. But, Years ago before I had my 2 massive back surgeries, they prescribed it for the extreme nerve pains that I had before the surgery. It never helped me at all. In fact, it caused me to swell. And, began to cause bad dreams and, made my anxiety worse. That medication is pretty much the same as Neurontin or Gabapentin. If I were you, I would ask your psychiatrist to prescribe actual anxiety and sleep medication. If it's necessary for you to stay on that medicine, then you will need real anxiety medication to be able to control your anxiety/panic issues and, if you get the proper medicine, you will be able to lower the trembling or shaking that which Lyrica can definitely cause.aAlso, you will be able to actually get sleep at night. I would recommend either Paxil or, a combination of it and, either some type of Valium or, Xanax. Also, Temazepam is a great medication to help you safely fall asleep.
