I would like to hear feedback from anyone taking Celexa and Lexapro What side effects did you have to start Was it effective for anxiety and panic Trying to decide what I may try next Been on Sertraline 3 months Not much different

I'm not now taking Lexapro but I did for about seven years and it was very effective. I didn't have any short- or long-term side effects... but I've never had side effects with any medication except maybe a slight headache. Lucky me. Lexapro is FDA approved to treat anxiety disorders. Not to rule out Celexa... just speaking from my personal experience with Lexapro.
After three months with minimal if any improvement maybe it is time to look at your options.

Thank you I am only on 50 mg Will probably only help if increased I assume Bad headache the last two days I am med sensitive and get anxious I have several friends on Celexa and Lexapro and they are doing well Wish I could find one that doesn’t cause dizziness but I know it’s part of my anxiety too A lot of people are lucky and don’t get the side effects Sure wish I didn’t just want to feel calm again Thanks for all your support You are knowledgeable and always answer me
