I came home from the hospital with two new medicines, Lipitor and Plavix. Tinnitus began the following day. I am no linger taking Lipitor but the tinnitus is screaming and won't quiet down. Could it be the Plavix? Before going into the hospital I took Diovan,Vit. D-3 and Magnesium caps which I'm still taking.
Will plavix exacerbate tinnitus?

I have just glanced at the side effects of Plavix and it is not known to cause or exacerbate tinnitus, however it may be possible and just hasn't been reported as a side effect yet. And nothing is stated under Diovan either.

I'm getting so confused with these drugs. I started D3 and my ears are ringing louder and I'm on no blood thinner because of the tinnitus. It's like once you get it you can't get rid of it it's very heartbreaking.
