Plavix stops the blood from forming platelets and with out them the blood isn't as thick as normal but it is not a blood thinner. Warfarin is a blood thinner and if it isn't checked on a regular bases your blood can become to thin.

Warfarin is a vitamin k antagonist.
Vit K is the warfarin antidote.
there are no drugs that THIN the blood. The only thing that can THIN the blood is fluids. Anticoagulants are just that... they interfere with the clotting process.
There are no blood tests required for plavix. It works later in the clotting mechanism and the inr would not reflect its effect.
