the pills are white, round and have no imprinted letters, just a line thru one side. it's about 1/4" thick and not flat on the top and bottom, its raised a bit.
What is this pill - with no imprint, just a line on one side?

It is impossible to ID any pill without an imprint - sorry.
All Rx and OTC drugs in the US are required by the FDA to have an imprint.
Your pill could be one of the following – diet, energy, herbal, vitamin, illicit or foreign.
The only thing I could find that this might possibly be is Metoprolol 25 mg it is a round white pill with the number 1 imprinted on one side which looks more like an l.
