Phentermine - Normal to plateau after only 2 weeks?

I started taking phentermine on 3/1/2014. I weighed 179lbs and I'm only 5 foot 2 inches. My doctor put me on the 37.5 capsules. I haven't had any side effects that I keep reading about, but I'm glad I haven't. It makes me wonder if the dosage is not enough sometimes. After only using this under 2 weeks, I've lost 9lbs, which is great ... however I lost that the first week... nothing seems to be changing with my weight. It's staying the same! :(

When loosing weight you are going to have good weeks and bad. You aren't going to always loose, you may even have a week you gain a few pounds. It isn't a steady decrease.

Thanks for the comment. I suppose I kept expecting to lose considering I hadn't even been taking it long. But I get it. Thanks! :)

I just wanted to let you know that the same exact thing happened to me. I am at the end of my second month and all my loss was the first two weeks. Now I am fluctuating the same 2-3 pounds. I told my doctor last month and he just stressed to follow my diet and didn't really believe me when I said that I was. It's frustrating. I am afraid that he won't bother to renew my prescription if he doesn't see progress.
