Is over-the-counter naproxen still safe and effective to take after the expiration date???

Hi i have used a number of things out of date and i can tell you it is safe but it does not work that well, it loses it's strength. Hope this helps
You don't mention when the medication expired. Expired medicine losses effectiveness over time. If it is just expired then it should still help. I usually don't use over the counter medicine if it is more than 3 months after the expiration date. I find it doesn't help much at that point.
