Hi,
I take daily Oxycodone and I have developed OIC or opioid-induced constipation. My chronic pain is non-cancer pain and I have a pain management physician who is always trying to wean me off the Oxycodone. He says I don’t need it. Huh? The opioid crisis has really affected how patients who really need it are stigmatized as drug-seeking or have “substance abuse disorder.”
Anyway, I was prescribed by a GI doctor Lnzess and it definitely treats the OIC. Your constipation will be cured for that day. Be close to a bathroom!
I’m not sure if my response answers your specific question. Just rewrite the question and I know somebody on here will be able to help.
Take care.
