I’ve had my implant for almost three years now, haven’t had any issues til recently ( January 2018 to be exact). I had periods every 28 days for only 3 to 4 days but now that I’m in the last year of having it they’ve been very erratic. Like have my period then a few days later have it again or right now, hasn’t shown up for over a month. My home pregnancy test was negative and I haven’t had any symptoms of my period coming. Is this normal?
Nexplanon and suddenly no period?

Answers
Yes, toward the end of the life of the implant, the amount of hormone released by the implant is much smaller than the initial levels leading to the issues you are experiencing. You are still protected from pregnancy for the life of the implant.
It is probably time to start thinking of your next 3 year plan. There is a comprehensive Nexplanon article here: https://www.drugs.com/nexplanon.html The 'professional' section is very informative.
Take care.
