My doctor never told me to wait 24 hours before showering so I'm worried.
Nexplanon - Is it bad if I showered before the 24 hour mark? Will that make it ineffective?

What happened if you accidentally get the nexplanon bandage wet in the shower? Just got it today...
Showering has nothing to do with the effectiveness of the birth control. If there is any reason not to shower during the first 24 hours, it is because they don't want of the site of insertion to get wet.
Can you take the dressing off after you shower
