I took Nexium 20mg for a week in an attempt to eliminate acid reflux. But since day 2 i have been suffering from blurred vision, dizziness, lightheadedness, anxiety and lack of concentration. Knowing that i stopped taking the drug 2 days ago, how long would syptoms last for after quitting the drug knowing that i only took it for 7 days.

Hi Delli; No problem at all what is happening STILL AND I KEEP TURNING THIS IN BUT CAN'T GET THEM TO HELP ME. ON DRUG.COM MY problems are if i hit comment next to the answer it goes back up to the top to the original post and I can't get the answer to post next to the newest question. #2 can't add or remove friends I have a file here of friend request waiting to add # 3 helpful does not work #4 LIKE you and I are friends but if I try and send you a private message it changes it to a question and post it for everyone. I did this about 6 times before I noticed it's not going to my friends it is posting to the board. I am starting to think they don't want me in here This has been since I got out of the hospital in June.I know they get my message because they added 2 friends about 2 weeks ago that I don't know who they are and helpful went up twice about 10 times then they took them back.I hope I'm making since.
So no matter where I post if it is comment or Answer they don't stay with the question it goes to the beginning again.So I hit let me know if someone responds so it comes in my email all suggestions would be great. Chuck. PS maybe I should not respond when they ask me another question would that be better. feel free to answer with mine anytime also you give great advice my friend but maybe even when they ask me back on something I just should not answer!!! ??? Dellia; Sorry if I sound upset I am not upset at all. I was just trying to explain why I have to answer how I do. See I just hit comment and it goes back to my profile then I have to find the question again and this just now started putting it where it belongs next to the part im answering prior to that it would just post on top nowhere near what I;m responding too. So If it lets me I just hit the blue bar and it goes on rigth away. Without taking me back to my profile this one I hit comment and it did it 6 times before it opened up. I don't want you to think I got upset. It's all this system problems im only having on this site. Like I can't add friends or it goes back to my profile also so I have a list saved so when it works I can ok the friend request. But even my friends like you I can't send you a private message it changes it and ends up as a question on the board So this is why I have many answers on some is fighting with the bugs in the system here.
Hope you see this I ment nothing and understand what you are saying but unless I do it the other way I have to keep searching for the question all over again. Bass; no problem at all. you should be feeling better soon. And if it does continue call the doctor next week when they are in unless the side effects don't get any better.

bassemnicolas; pretty much just about all the side effects you have put down are with Nexium so make sure you do not take any of the other medications for Gerd etc almost all of them are in this family so please like I said take nothing until you see or talk to your doctor or your going to have pretty much the same results.

Thanks a lot for your reply. It is already the third day without the drug but i still suffer from the side effects that will hopefull fade out in the next couple of days. Was just curious as well, to hear from someone who suffered from a similar case.

bassemnicolas; Going off the half life of 20mg Nexium the total amount of drug should be out of your system would be between 5 to 6 days when your system is clear from this medication, but the side effects should be getting better as the level drops really anytime now. Are you taking other medications that might have caused all of these side effects they are pretty rare but anyway do not try any of the others before talking with your doctor sounds like they are going to have to treat this another way. Hi Chuck! Merry Christmas to you! I hope you don't mind me pointing out, when you answer a question and continue to help the poster of that question, it might be better to add further conversation in the 'comment' section under your answer, rather than add lots of of 'new' answers. Just because, sometimes if I/others see a question with 3 answers, such as this one, we are less likely to answer as it looks like they have already had responses from 3 people. Delila I am so sorry I am still having vision problems but don't spell your name right most the time but here I had to hit comment 7 times before the comment box opened next to your post Now this should post next to your response to me.But it won't. Maybe if you see me answer feel free to post with me the more minds the better.But I am having all kinds of problems with this website and most the time when I have more than one response next to it. It's because they have replied to me and No matter what I do the answer goes back to the top. Now when I got comment this time right now it took 7 times to open but I am not typing next to your post so lets see where this goes. Please let me know if im messing things up I well quit Posting. I sometimes find that if i hit 'comment' and it doesn't come up quick enough, i click it again and that closes it again! Could be the problem?
