I have awful nightmares, my skin is itchy, I hear sandpaper behind my eyes, I can't concentrate on anything for more than a second, there seems to be bugs crawling underneath my skin... You’re having an allergic reaction to the medication. My Dad was allergic to it and had to stop. I took it and it did nothing for my pain. It was a complete waste of time.
Hi, Raven!
Did your doctor prescribe 90mg/day? For most pain disorders 60mg/day is the recommended maximum dose. Did you reduce your dosage recently?
What you're describing could be unusual side effects or they could be caused by your higher dosage or by reducing your dose... or something unrelated.
I'd suggest you get professional advice from your doctor.
Best regards and I hope you're better soon.

Sorry for your experience I had similar 67 year old male. For me long time back sufferer tried all meds from Drs they all come with major side affects. And coming off a lot can be a nightmare. Have to find a Dr that’s willing to talk homeopathic medicine. NSAIDs barely mask pain and long term eats up your insides. There’s no real answers except to try and talk to physical therapist and homeopathic folks all online. Try and go on Tic Toc type in your concerns so many there to help. Also on you tube you can find answers. Hope this helps a bit. Also lots of books on chronic pain also online!
Never heard of Cymbalta for osteoarthritis. Is well known for use with fibromyalgia. You should talk to yoir doctor & get off it slowly.
Also, max dosage is always 60 mg daily. You need to seek a second opinion. Osteoarthritis is due to inflammation around joints caused by bone on bone irritation. Cymbalta is for use with pain in muscles caused by neurological misfires in the pain sensory system. You need to stop taking it by slowly reducing amounts weekly with physician's help-- and take something completely different.
