Duloxetine may be causing a scalp irritation. A seminar on this med named an alternative that's not as costly to which one could switch. Anyone know the name or generic?

I’ve tried Cymbalta (and the generic duloxetine) and Lyrica (and the generic pregabalin) and they all caused a scalp irritation for me. I had sores on my scalp that made it hard to brush my hair. I’ve tapered off all of them and I no longer have a sore scalp. Hopefully you find something that will help you.

Other drugs prescribed for fibromyalgia are milnacipran HCl (Savella) and pregabalin (Lyrica).
