... of my vagina where it itches? This is my first time having a yeast infection, and I'm not even sure if that's exactly what it is. Also, it says on the tube to use 2 times a day, but I thought you were only supposed to apply at night? PLEASE HELP!!
Monistat 7 - Do I have to insert monistat with the applicator, or can I just apply it on the outside

I'm sorry to say this but you will have to put it inside your vagina. I know it seems scary (pushing cream from a tube inside of you). But trust me, it's not that bad. The tube doesn't hurt, it's smooth and easy to push in. It is easier to apply at night, so you don't have much of a mess because you will see the cream start exiting out of your vagina. If you smell an odor from that area or see some discharge, don't worry. That's completely normal! If you feel like peeing after you insert it (you most likely will), you can pee without it coming out. Also, sit on your bottom or lay on your back with your knees up when you are going to put the applicator in. Every applicator is different so be sure to read the instructions. But every box it comes in will say to be comfortable and you decide how far to push it in (there's not an exact spot on how far you have to do it). So good luck with everything and I'm sorry you have to do this.
