Monistat-1 - Ok so I took a monistat and I waited 7 days to have sex and a lot of white stuff ended?

This is the longest I've heard of it still discharging from a vagina. It appears that Monistat 1 is not dissolving and coming out as it should in some people. You don't need to clean it out of your vagina unless this really bothers you. Why not let the medicine stay in case there's a little more yeast to kill? I know it's strange to wait 7 days and have it still there, but it probably didn't do it's job for many days while it sat hidden somewhere inside you, probably caught in vaginal folds or next to your cervix. If you don't have a discharge the next morning, you know the Monistat 1 is still inside, not coating your vagina.
