Just was prescribed methocarbamol after surgery and staples removed today for repair of a broke humorous bone. My script says to take 1 tab every 8 hrs (500mg) but I've taken 1 and then 3hrs. later another as it doesn't seem to be helping. Can I take anything else with it to eleviate the pain. I have tramadol and Hydrocodone for pain.
Methocarbamol - how long does it take to work after the 1t dose?

Answers
Its not going to do much for pain, other then if the pain is from muscle spasm. That effect is there from the first pill. Taking either of those with it can lead to increased side effects of dizziness and drowsiness.
