What medication is equal to lyrica?

There is no direct equivalent. Neurontin (Gabapentin) is similar. Always check with your doctor before stopping or replacing any medication.

I agree with everyone on this one. I have done extensive research on these medications especially Lyrica. I have read several blogs about Neurontin, Gabapentin,Lyrica. From what I have read and heard from different people ..it seems as though these drugs are very similar yet.different. Lyrica may work for me but the next person may have terrible side effects from it. It depends on the person. You can get a ton of information from this exact website!!! Probably Neurontin (Gabapentin).
I was first put on Neurontin, but couldn't tolerate the side-effects. Then I was put on Lyrica, which I tolerated better. Some people have it the other way round.

Generic Name - Gabapentin

Yep or its original name Neurontic. Lyrica made my legs swell up. No prob with Neurontin

I would say gabapentin is the closest to it.
