... worse and been on Zoloft for sometime now.
I had tried coming off it last summer and then went back on it since Dec 2012. Upped the dose 6 weeks ago to 100mgs and now tremors are worse then ever.
Just wondering if my body can not tolerate the Zoloft any longer because I still HAVE to take clonazepam daily.
Medication - Has anyone gotten hand tremors while on Zoloft? I have been getting them worse and?

I was on 100mg Zoloft from about 1900 thru Feb 2017 when I withdrew. I experienced shaking hands (Doc called them "essential shakes" and said everybody had some hand shaking). Mine got so bad I couldn't put a legible signature on anything and I couldn't get soup to my mouth without spilling on my lap or down the front of me. Doc was useless. The shakes have gradually completely disappeared since I got of SSRI treatment. I could be a brain surgeon today my 74 year old hand is so steady. Unfortunately, you will not find warnings about this for SSRIs (at least I haven't found them). I am totally convinced the cause of my problem was the Zoloft, but I don't know who to report this to, and it's unlikely any action would be taken anyway. I find nothing on the Cochrain database either. As an added note: I believe Zoloft has also done permanent damage to insulin creation and secretion by my pancreas, adding to difficulty I have had with glucose control. The proliferation of SSRIs is doing as much damage to patients as it does good, in my opinion.
Typo Alert: the year 1900 should read 1990.
ummm there is no such dose as 400mgs of Zoloft!!! the highest you can go is 200mgs!
I stand corrected. I checked my bottle and found I'm on 200 mg.
I am on 400 mg. of zoloft daily. I, too, have hand tremors. I have them off and on. I never thought the zoloft might be causing them. I just suffer through them.
