How many mg of Valium does it take to equal 1 mg of Xanax?

This is an old time question but you have to be very careful the Xanax works different and stays in your system longer where Valium you get the relief for a few hours but it does not last as long. but to match them mg to mg is very hard because they are in the same class of drug but a lot like asking what is better an apple or a pear. yOU COULD ask many and get so many different answers as far as what stays and works the longest like I said is the Xanax an do not mix the two. good luck
