I find it best not to have regular meals after I take it. I drink as much water as I can. If I am really hungry I try to eat some soup and plain saltines. Also popsicles and jello are great.
Once the citrate of magnesium has worked I slowly add low fiber food like white toast, plain boiled chicken and more soup like chicken noodle.
Hope all goes well for you. Let me know how you made out.
