You need to see your doctor to make sure the infection has cleared up.
I have never heard of taking Metronidazole 500 mg. as a single dose.
Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It fights bacteria in your body and is used to treat bacterial infections of the vagina, stomach, skin, joints, and respiratory tract. This medication will not treat a vaginal yeast infection.
Was it prescribed to you for a vaginal infection?
Did your doctor tell you to abstain from drinking and sex for two months?
