Hi,
I started taking trazodone 50 mg , as prescribed by my doctor to help my sleep issue.
I have depression , anxiety and I already use 100 mg of Zoloft.
I wonder if I should be concerned by the erections that I got during the night using trazodone.
The erections were not painful but long lasting.
Should I speak to my doctor or leave it like that for a couple of days to see if it goes away?

Trazodone is known to cause priapism. I personally wouldn't risk it.

P4ROT; I don't think it is a rush to let the doctor know I have had this problem with Zoloft and Trazodone before and it should settle down but if it continues or bothers you let the doctor know. good luck.

p4 just in case you have heard of the long erections to worry about that is the one with Viagra if it last over 4 hours calls your doctor because damage can be done but it won't happen with the Trazodone don't worry my friend.

By the way is it normal to have terrible headache the day after taking it ?
If yes does it usually goes away after a while?
It might be a temporary side effect ,,a bit like when I started Zoloft I had gas and stomach was all messed up but now it went away.

Yes you got it but feel free to ask anytime, meaning the headache, sometimes stomach I found that when I had a little bread or crackers just before I took it the stomach was much better and if the headache last more than a few hours when you get up it well go away if you can handle it but you can take whatever you do for headaches but then you have to fight the withdrawal of the headaches later. And last no worries you can take care of the boner anyway you would like LOL chuck1957
