I advice you don't do that to yourself you can't get a bad withdrawal and end up in the hospital you need to tappered down on a low dosage is the worse withdrawal ever I went through the same thing and I'm still feeling sick and is been 3 1/2 weeks

Ok I have been taking 2mg Klonopin for almost ten yrs due to anxiety and panic attacks and I've stayed on them because they had me on 2mg Xanax and I have to work for a living so I needed to be put on something that was not as strong but just worked ,and I'm a real believer in a strong mind but dealing with anxiety and panic as I do I have not found anything , even my yoga and meditation that helps ... * I am not a DR so this is from ten years of experience and I guess it has to do a lot with you metabolism, but I've had times of not having to take it for two weeks but it was still in my system after not taking it for weeks but was taking them everyday and I'm about 175lbs but I've seen people who took them and a week later it was out of their system , but they did not frequently take it, so I have come to believe that it has to do with how long you have been taking them and it can stay anywhere from 3 weeks to a few days. Depends who long you have been taking them.. hope this helps a little

^^ReitaErin^^ Klonopin usually takes about one week to leave your system. Depending on how many you take a day and what milligram you are on. Your on the 1mg so.. depending on if you take it everyday and you take them like your supposed to it should leave your system in a week, now if your only supposed to be taking say 1, once at bedtime and your taking like 4 or 5 a day it's going to take longer then a week to leave your system let's just say about close to 2 weeks to keep it safe!! --Hope this helps to answer your question... :) :)

I barely take them, like hardly ever. I'm in a sub clinic and this week as been so stressful for me, so I've taking about 6 this week maybe less. And 5 years before that, I only took them because I had a panic attack. And my Appt for the sub Dr us this Friday The 27th do you think I'll fail. They were 1mg Klonopin.

Dr. You need to do some more research on Benzos. They found that they're needing to be withdrawn from VERY slowly, so that your brain can heal from them. They are actually damaging your receptors, if you take it longer than a month or two. Lots of scientific proof from the UK!!!

Absolutely Not!
I recently had to wean off of a 1 mg a day schedule (.5 twice a day) You should cut back by 25% the first week and then 10% every week after. Your Dr. may even slow it down if symptoms of withdrawals start. It should go without saying -NEVER stop or cut back on medication without talking to your Dr.

ANY benzodiazepines have withdrawals... and like most drug withdrawals, they suck. I've taken Clonazepam for over 5 yrs and I've never had a problem. It works for me because it has a long half-life which means it stays in my system longer than say: Xanax. Before discontinuing ANY medication you should Always talk to your Dr. If your dose is reduced gradually, withdrawals, if any, will be Much easier.

Hayshanae 19 Jan 2018

Yeah all benzos are the worst to withdraw from but the longer the half life the easier the withdrawal will be, that's why my favorite is valium since it has the longest half life and its comparatively stronger than all other benzos by far. If you don't believe me you can go ahead and compare your current benzo of choice to valium and you'll see, you'll also save a lot of money. If you're curious just google benzo comparison chart.

I'm going through withdrawal it's been 3 weeks but my head don't feel normal yet and I'm still getting very anxious is that side affects of clonazepam 1mg I drunk it for a very long time.

Hello ReitaErin,
You didn't mention if you're being tested, but Klonopin(Clonazepam) is a long acting drug, has a half life of approximately 34 hours, benzos typically test positive in the urine for about 3 days after ingestion unless you are on the drug on a regular basis. Since Klonopin is a long acting benzo, it may stay in the urine for an extra day or two, but should be eliminated from a testable level in a week. 1mg is not a large dose so it may clear closer to the typical 3 day.

If I took 3 1mg klonipin for the first time in months how long will it stay in my system if I drink water all day every day?

Oldnews 22 Jan 2018

If you had nothing in your system at all if there's nothing in your system at all before you took it that should Klonopin has a half-life 40 to 50 hours so after 2 days one to two days most of the time depending on your weight only half of it will be out of your system because it breaks down very slowly in your system
