I was on Buspar for 17 days and have now been off 17 days. Both are miserable.
I have brain zaps, lightheadedness, poor sleep, extreme thirst, fatigue

Unfortunately there's no set timeline for medication discontinuation... it depends on many factors like your dose, the length of time you took the medication, your own personal metabolism, and your current state of mind.
You didn't mention the dose you were on but 17 days is a relatively short period of time and I'd suspect that your symptoms should be resolving quickly now.
