I have taken 3 capsules a day of benzonatate for 3 days, it worked great and now I am 1 day off of benzonatate. I would like to have a beer. How long does it take for benzonatate to get out of your system?

deekadarner; As of now all you have is a trace of the Benzonatate not enough in your system to worry about. A beer or so is not going to hurt you. Have a good weekend.

I've been on this 2/3 x daily for 3 months. I could not figure out what was wrong with me until my friend asked if I was on any new meds. How long before the side effects wear off? I have like a blistering feeling in my mouth accompanied by a bad taste, numbing / tightness in my chest, hallucinations, confusion, light sensitivity and these are just a few of the things going on. Will this go away?
