I am about to go on vacation and I am only 2 weeks into a 12 week dosage. I know I am going to drink and I want to be safe about it. How long after I stop taking Terbinafine can I safely consume alcohol with out any risk of damaging my liver?

Because both terbinafine and alcohol are both metabolized by the liver, the combination of the two together should be avoided to prevent the risk of liver injury.
Terbinafine has a 36 hour life life. That means it takes about five days to clear your liver of all terbinafine. Alcohol is a known hepatotoxic substance. Although no clear contraindications are in the package insert for terbinafine, it seems prudent to forgo alcohol for a week after last dose of terbinafine to be safe.
