How long after getting a flu shot can I take prednisone?

I am on constant prednisone. I get a flu shot even though my immune system is suppressed. You cannot get the nasal spray or be near anyone who has received the nasal spray. That one has a live virus and will give you the flu. The shot is dead virus and safe.

Prednisone stays in your system for a long time. Check with your doctor. Your dose and condition determine when and how much. Good luck.

The nasal spray is barely alive and cannot give you the flu.
