My husband takes 6 different pills and he has become stubborn about swallowing them. He wants to put them all in his mouth and chew them up and then swallow. I know this is probably not a good idea, but he has dementia and is also a very hard headed individual.

No, swallow hole, if he must, it can be crushed up and taken(mixed) with yogurt, honey or jam, but still must be swallowed straight away-no chewing
