When first starting Lexapro decreased appetite can be a side effect for some people. It usually resolves within a few days to a week or so but if it persists longer than that you should let your doctor know.

Thank you. How has your experience been on lexapro? I have been on it for a week how long does it take to see results ?
I was on Lexapro for over 7 years and I can't say enough good about it. It did a super job on my depression and anxiety.
Most people will see some improvement in energy, sleep patterns, and mood, in the first 2 weeks or so although if you're taking it for anxiety it might take a bit longer. The full benefits of the medication may take 4-8 weeks to become completely effective.
If you have other questions or concerns along the way just post again, okay?
