I now have my seventh (7th) squamous cell carcinoma. They have all been head & neck tumours.
Four have been removed surgically, one by laser & one by radiotherapy. Immunotherapy has not worked so I am faced with major surgery that will leave me without a moving tongue as they have very little room to manouvre due to the previous surgeries. I have looked at the trial results of using Ivermectin to help shrink tumours & it's my last shot before facing irreversible surgery. Does anyone have any idea about the recommended dosage of Ivermectin to take? I am 45 kg. Female aged 65 years. It's an urgent matter as you can understand so I would appreciate any responses asap. I would like to take the initial dose this weekend July 14 & 15. I am in Sydney, Australia. Many thanks.

I have no data to support my suggestion but I can tell you what dose I have chosen to use for potential synergy with Keytruda for stage 4 urothelial adenocarcinoma. I started with 0.4mg/kg first 3 days of each week then 4 days off. If well tolerated could increase to 0.6mg/kg. Has your immunotherapy been discontinued? What was the basis for immunotherapy? mmrD, micro satellite unstable, PDL1 high? Please note that I am not a physician and approach this as a well informed patient sharing opinions I have gleaned from academic articles and personal experience.
Just an update. Since starting the Ivermectin and pembrolizumab all Mets have disappeared and primary has decreased in volume by 70%. No apparent side effects from Ivermectin. The pembrolizumab took out my thyroid.
