Such as the white ip110 10mg/325mg and the yellow norco 10mg/325mg? Thanks
Is there a difference between generic hydrocodones?

Hey brads,
The generic hydrocodone and the Norco both contain the same active ingredients for pain control. The major difference is the inactive ingredients and hence the difference in color. So basically they are the same.
Best wishes,
Laurie
no the same here. There are two of us who got switched to a new generic drug this past week and his seems not as strong and mine put me to sleep. In a whole lot of pain I have not had for quite awhile. Told the pharmacy next time if they do not have what I had been getting to tell me in advance so I can go to another pharmacy instead. Not only do I feel ripped off but am suffering as well. Not happy. Sorry
Dear brads23:
I notice (not a hige difference) but enough until I think I could be blindfolded and tell you the difference. they are made by two different companies I know they are made basically the same but I also know they have different fillers what may have an affecton me may not be enough for others to notice. it's not my primary chronic pain medicine it is what I use for breakthrough. these are also my experience.
I have taken both for pain. The yellow pills seem to work a lot better than the white ones. It seems I no longer have the choice which one I take. I wonder if Qualitest Mfg will produce the yellow ones again
Qualitest makes a generic yellow tab which Walgreens just switched to. However, I find that for me, they are very subpar in my opinion. I get nowhere near the relief before the switch.
I actually think the white ones are better, idk maybe it's different for people, but to be honest, the peach colored 7.5/325 Norco are the BEST, I like those better than 10's, but then again it could be just me, in my mind! :) Either way, I'm not going to complain, because it's hard to get a dr to write a script for them anymore, Kentucky has some pretty tight restrictions on prescription drugs and how they are dispensed.
What do you use as your primary?
Right now I'm using the Norco as my primary but I'd like to change that.
I have taken both, & have found they both work about the same. Just my thoughts...
